I cannot see how to block a user. Does this function not exist?

Out of curiosity though what would you like a block function to actually block (there are a lot of different activities folk can perform so some detail on what you would like it to do would be good)

Block user posts being visible in forums, comments etc.

I’ll look into how we would make something like a block work, I suppose as the community grows it may well have some use 🙂

I do worry about things like report user buttons. Although it can be useful to report users for inappropriate behaviour I would be concerned that people might start using it to report people for having differing opinions on games etc giving the guys running the site even more work to do

@torros true but at some point the “user mass” gets critical and the amount of trolls or troublemaker start going up exponentially. Some form of troll/spammer report is in order. It’s a tough subject and one of the reasons I usually stay away from being a moderator on forums and groups 😉

A ‘report’ button is pretty standard on message boards. It allows users to flag inappropriate content, spam, and other stuff quickly and bring it to the attention of moderators. As this community grows my guess is that the BoW staffers will need to bring some community volunteers on to the team as moderators.
