It’s pretty simple, some bot is spamming your forum with crappy movie links which is spamming my email. I’ve been signed up to your forums for years and have never suffered a spam problem before, which while I realise you will delete this user as soon as your able to, I’d like a method to silence them myself.

I came here to say the same.  You can remove the spam by unsubscribing from the forum until the spam is removed

    The user name is vinabey

The titles are all in the form of

Thank did that, if someone wants to post here when he’s gone I’ll resubscribe.. I don’t pop by often but I do read most threads that grab my attention and I like to stay in touch with various communities.

I might be missing it but surely the forums should have a ‘REPORT’ button on each post, and also a way to ‘BLOCK’ a user. Neither seem to exist here.

There are two things you can do. Blacklist his email in your mailer settings and blacklist his IP if he is spamming your server mail. But be careful with the latter in order not to block crawler bots by accident. I also used auslogics blog help when the same issue caused by gmail stop working altogether. So you can try this out, maybe.
