My project isn’t showing up in the list of Spring Cleaning Hobby Challenges and I’ve no idea why.  I’ve updated it a few times today so I should be the top entry, or at the least on the front page, but I can’t see it.  My previous entries show up if I go back far enough, and I still show up in the general projects list.  If this competition is based on votes, then people not showing up in the list can really mess with this competition.

It might just be that this list doesn’t update often, but the most recent entry there is from yesterday, and I went back to two years ago, and I couldn’t see my current project.  I am assuming it is all in date order, of course.

My project is tagged as Active, part of the competition, and publicly visible.  Does anyone have any ideas what I’m doing wrong?  Do I show up for you?

You do show up! (As I said in your project)

It takes time for OTT to precess everything. Don’t worry. Also: all SCP show up when checked. Even from past years 😉

I’m still not showing up on https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-contest/spring-cleaning-hobby-challenge/ to me. My project is a few weeks old now (Technically a year or two old. I think I’m repurposing an abandoned project that had 1 entry) so should surely show up somewhere in that list, even if it thinks it’s not been touched for a week or two?

@sundancer was able to help me with this.  Perhaps a link in the projects template might benefit from a tweak?:

The URL you use is wrong. When you go to the site and click on projects and then tick the “spring clean” drop down you get this URL:

https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/?fwp_project_contest=spring-cleaning-hobby-challenge and that shows your project.

Odd. That does work for me too. I got my link from clicking beneath the pie chart on my project where it says, “Related Contest: Spring Cleaning Hobby Challenge”. Perhaps that link needs updating backstage? I see no commands in the URL that might exclude the project it comes from. Thanks for catching that and helping out.

Yeah I’d say there is some link generation not working the way it is intended. Glad to have helped 😉

@lawnor currently on the Hobby Challenge project contest page projects are ordered by newest created project, as yours was initially created in 2019 its can be found a few pages back. On the main projects page where your can filter by the contest projects are ordered by latest updated projects hence why it is visible there.

If you like I can change the creation date of the project to push it up to the top of the project contest page.

Cheers.  Apparently there’s no need, as it still shows up through a regular search.  It’s good to understand what happened though.  Thank you.
