Ages of Conflict is a multi-genre 6 mm tabletop miniatures wargame; a single set of rules for ancients, fantasy, black powder, WWII, and sci-fi. While we have the game scaled for 6 mm, you can just as well use other miniature scales either changing movement and weapon ranges or leave as is. Works fine either way.

The game is company based, so that is the smallest tactical unit for ancients, fantasy, and black powder, though with WWII and sci-fi we go down to the platoon level. Companies are grouped into battalions for larger tactical units.

The core mechanic is a d10 dice pool versus a target number. You usually roll 2d10 or 3d10, though some fantasy monsters can roll 7 or 8d10.

We are miniature vendor and base size agnostic. We use a lot of Baccus, Microworld, Irregular, Perfect Six, and Rapier. We tend to use 60×30 or 40×40 mm bases, though other sizes work also.

The rules are 90% complete and the art about 40% complete. The Kickstarter is to complete the artwork – about 100 pieces. Below are a couple examples.

Hi, All. We’ve added a video covering movement in Ages of Conflict, our upcoming tabletop miniatures wargame. This video is a primer covering the basics of movement. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions!

A few images from today’s playtest in which we tested scaling the game from a company level game to a battalion level game.  A couple of items to follow up on, though overall a successful test, particularly when the dragon went down due to an incredibly bad roll. Follow along at https://www.facebook.com/groups/AgesofConflict.

Hi, All. Our Ages of Conflict Kickstarter is now live at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/badgoblingames/ages-of-conflict. This is a big battle universal miniature wargame system. Miniature scale is agnostic – we play with everything from 2 mm to 28 mm.

The core book contains rules and army lists for ancients, fantasy, and black powder. Stretch goals include expanding into WWII and sci-fi.

We have a Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/AgesofConflict if you are interested in learning more. Thank you!

Are there plans to release the planned content from the stretchgoals in the future if you don’t reach the stretch goals ?

That’s the plan, though will take a bit longer unless we forgo the art.

Hi, All. I recorded a quick solo Ages of Conflict demo game in which an army of Medieval era Normans squares off with an extremely small sci-fi era army. Obviously a bit one-sided, though wanted to show the multi-genre capabilities of the system.

And our Kickstarter is funded, though still running and hoping we can hit some stretch goals.

    Thank you!

Hi, All. I recorded a solo Ages of Conflict demo game in which an army of American Civil War Confederates attempts to fend off an army of undead. Interesting premise as the Confederates have a decisive ranged advantage, particularly those with rifled muskets, while the undead hold the edge if they can close into hand combat.
