It’s a tabletop game. But it hooks up to an app. No, it’s not a lame GW like effort. Yes, it’s kind-of like my Xmas entry linking an electronic interactive playing surface to an app running on a phone/tablet.

It’s been a few months in development. I was going to launch a few weeks ago, but got sidetracked adding NPCs (it was originally just a two-player battle-royale kind of skirmish shoot-em-up). It’s pretty well all coded up now. But I’d love to give my NPCs some voices. So I wondered if anyone on here might be interested in doing some voice acting?

It’s just a bit of fun at the minute; a self-funded indie title, as a proof-of-concept. But, who knows what it might lead to…?

Anyone interested? I’ve a few characters written up and some example dialogue (feel free to play about with it). Gimme a shout and I’ll  send a link with more details!

Awesome! I still have a couple of NPCs to write up, and some female voices would be really good, if you know anyone (sorry, but Bee-Gees style falcetto just isn’t going to cut it!).

Anyone else wants to join in, please don’t be shy. It’s all a bit of fun at the minute so don’t be coy!

I’m willing to give it a go as well. Hope you’re okay with an English accent :p.

Yes please! Try a couple. Try out a few different accents if you like (I’m rubbish at that kind of thing, and hopeless at acting, otherwise I’d have had a go myself!) or maybe read a few characters with the same voice if you like? Any of our international friends want to try too? (heavily exotic accents would be cool too, don’t feel you need perfect English diction….)

Well, if you want people with a bit of experience, my daughter and her class mates are finishing up acting school this year.  They have done voice acting work for some podcasts.  Send me a message and I’ll provide her email address.

I just been trying this myself at the weekend… early stages but maybe for the future… And you can create your own text to speech voice of yourself..!!
