So positive c and c, please and thank you.
August 17, 2019 at 10:02 am #1427270I’m a fan overall. Nice highlighting all over. Rust mud weathering looking great.
I do think the green on your bike test looks a little darker than the power armour on your test marine. Although I prefer your green.
The last point is the dash looks good but I wonder if its worth putting something on the Red screen.
August 17, 2019 at 10:47 am #1427273Thanks!
the highlighting on the green and weathering are simply drybrushing
Do you think I should highlight the armour again and what should I put in the dash thing

August 18, 2019 at 9:07 am #1427511@mage I like it more the more I look at it. In seriousness a very harsh highlight on the sharpest edges to give it that pop would be nice but not necessary.
As for the dash thing just something that breaks it up. Something like a yellow square I imagine. @horati0nosebl0wer is usually a good source of tips.
August 18, 2019 at 10:56 am #1427522I got a new paint yesterday with Conquest Magazine that might work as a good highlight for it so I might do that as my brain uploads this morning. I was late getting to bed…
I might leave it red and add something else to it. The rider’s shoulder pads will be yellow, y’see

It’s a little rough with the finish on the green power armour but I picture them as being a little worn and rough mid Badab War after fighting for a prolonged period
August 18, 2019 at 12:20 pm #1427587Yeah mate, it looks good! I’m in agreement with everything @woldenspoons says there. It’s a good colour for the highlighting, the green looks spot on for the Mantis Warriors.
When I looked at the red screen this sprang to mind:Buuuut, I wouldn’t suggest trying to paint that!
Maybe something like some vertical or horizontal lines. Or even just a “blip” or two? A couple of dots on the screen?
August 23, 2019 at 3:05 pm #1429170@rayzryr I will add a dot or two of yellow but I think I would drive my self insane if I tried to do that.
The bike is finished, three more bikers are on their way and the riders and the accesories have been primed on separate sub assemblies.

Working on the start of my Mantis Warriors here:
August 31, 2019 at 9:34 pm #1431198You know I love the bikes, but one tiny thing…the line down the mudguards! Do you not clean them off?
