Pacific Rim Masters Destroyed

Anybody paying attention to the Pacific Rim game from Riverhorse they just updated the kickstarter with bad news.  Apparently the master model for painting were lost in shipping to China.  They were found and returned however they were shattered.  Riverhorse is in the process of creating new masters.  However shipping will not take place till sometime in 2019.

I didn’t back it but that truly sucks. At least people will get the game eventually though. I’ve backed a few where nothing came through at all.

I’ve seen it.

That is the most tricky part of any production though. As such it’s a miracle such things don’t happen more often.
Can you imagine the damage that could be done if it happened to some of the bigger kickstarters ?

I suppose the only thing they could have done is to transport them as carry-on luggage themselves with an armed bodyguard just to be sure …

It sucks, but that’s one of those things no one expects to happen.
