I have recently posted my first project and some image entries. The images are showing as broken but when I edit the document they show up fine. Help please 🙂

Nevermind they seem to have sorted themselves out. Is there a refresh time post loading we should be aware of?

Images seem to have problems loading, they seem to upload fine, but not always show on the entry. When clicking the link that appears instead of the image, the image loads up fine at full size.

I agree, I see the same thing, but only in some of my projects, some of the time (i.e., right now it’s fine in VV1918, but not fine in Darkstar). Weird.

And now they’re back.  (??)  These are older images, too.  They’ve been up for a while.  They just keep blinking in and out.  No worries.  Even when they’re “out” they still appear normally when you click on them.

We are about half way through getting the performance issues we’ve been facing resolved (@timchubb hopes to get a big chunk of improvements deployed early next week)

 

What is likely happening is you are being redirected to web02.beasts rather than staying on http://www.beasts

 

Check the url next time it happens and change it to www and see if that resolves it 🙂

Sorry again guys for the hassle but I believe we are nearly there on a stabilising fix 🙂

I just had issues with pictures lager in size then 3.7MB. Every other picture uploaded well but the one with 3.7MB just showed up as borked link and no file.

Project and forum images failing for me, even when uploaded reducing to quite a smallish size (<1mb)

Has the 700kb limit gone now, as the ones I have been loading have been below that size?

I just added content to my project and was surprised to see text show and no pictures , but on clicking on and off the BOW site , then back to my project , they now show up .  I figure it was the loud swearing that made them appear

Having issue posting pic’s in the forums. they show up fine in my project.

Yep, I have found that there may be a bit of time for them to show. If you close the page and give it a few minutes then check back they should show if not then it may be worth reloading them at that point. That’s what happened with me when I started this post 🙂
