I swear at times the BoW site puts my bank to shame. It seems to log me out every 10 mins. Not really an issue, apart from one major thing….

Sometimes I’ll type a long reply, hit post and then find that the site has logged me out and I’ve just lost everything I’ve just typed (and I don’t have the heart to type it all out again). Is there a reason why the site needs to log ppl out at such a frequency (might be a very good technical reason for things like traffic….I dunno)?

If its something that can’t be changed, is there a way the site could “hold” the webform when you hit post and give an error message if the site has logged you out (so you can quickly Alt-C it, then log in and then post your reply)?

My bet is it’s not logging you out mate.

next time it happens can you check the url to see if it has redirected to you web01 or web02 rather than keeping you on www

@timchubb last week the forums on the homepage rendered out using web02 urls.

is there any more robust things we can do to keep folk on www (or perhaps somthing we can do to the sessions to make it not matter what subdomain they use?)
