Since @warzan was so impressed by the idea to categorize your pile of shame I now present you:

My blog in which I collect German wargaming YouTubers.

Backstory: a while ago some German YouTubers decided to form a Facebook group so that there would be one place to show of the latest videos. Great idea, not much work.

But if you don’t use Facebook (and a lot of people don’t) you’re out of luck. Until now!

On YouKraut.de I replicate (manually) the posts from the group. I’m not affiliated with the group admins nor do I monetise any of it. It’s a hobby product. Hop along and maybe you’ll find something that peeks your interest. But be “warned”: most channels are pure hobby products and production quality varies greatly 😉

PS: If this post somehow is inappropriate the admins may feel free to remove it. No hard feelings.

    lol

Love it! (makes me want to start YouPaddy.ie or YouAreATube.ie lol)

Our of curiosity if there is anything we can be doing here to better facilitate our German buddies (and else where if you have a community that us localising for would be helpful) I’d love to discuss it.

Running a full multilingual setup is obviously a big big chunk of work, but perhaps there are manageable steps we can take?

I don’t really think, that it’s that big of an issue as for most Germans English was the 1st foreign language in school and very many systems/games are never translated to German so being able to speak/read/understand English is rather essential for German gamers. That being said: maybe collect a “staff” of volunteers how are fluent in German (either because their native speakers or because the lived in Germany etc) to point to when someone has a questions/problem but struggles with English as a language.

Since BoW runs on WordPress the easiest thing would be to install some sort of language plugin. That would do the most for you. Point your webmonkey to this resource: https://codex.wordpress.org/Multilingual_WordPress
