Perry Miniatures Head To The Desert With The Afrikakorp
September 5, 2013 by brennon
The Afrikakorp from Perry Miniatures have finally been released and you can now grab them for your World War II gaming! See what you think of some of the assembled models and the sprue below...
One thing that will quite obviously strike you is that the sprue is in desert yellow! I think that's a neat little touch. You get a range of weapons, helmets, and poses and in total there is thirty eight to make too!
Perry Miniatures have done well here and they have managed to squeeze a lot of detail and character into their models, as always. A perfect choice for adding to your World War II German army.
These desert wars were particularly interested and it's pretty fun to read up on the battles and characters that were involved. Rommel and Montgomery fighting it out on the tabletop would be a sight to see.
What do you think?
These would fit nicely into a Bolt Action force. I dont think warlord have any Afrikacorps units just now.
Warlord will be selling these http://www.warlordgames.com/39095/pre-order-perry-miniatures-afrikakorps-1941-1943/
… so I doubt they have any plans to produce their own AK or 8th Army.
Seriously, how can they sell 38 of these for £20 and GW sell 10 Cadians for £18?
agreed. its crazy isn’t it. I have lots of historical figures that my friends let me use as imp guard. perry’s quality has always been excellent.
Supply and demand solar…..end of!
