Gangs of Rome steps away from the battlefields of the ancient period and instead delivers cinematic and tactical scuffles and skirmishes between rival mobs who are often serving some shadowy organisation or another.
It's a great game that has had a welcome second edition update, all in aid of making Gangs of Rome approachable for new players whilst also full of cunning and depth for veterans. Get those daggers out, sneak around in the shadows and maybe stab a few people before pilfering their coin! Are you intrigued by this new set?

But would it be enough to motivate Lloyd to build Rome for Gerry ?
Hmmmm, Are you asking the question rhetorically? Because there only really is one very obvious answer – NO!
Totally love everything about this. Great ruleset from Footsore, great terrain from Sarissa, great plastic minis from WA.
I also love that even indie wargames companies are understanding the market power of the Starter Set.
Ok, this one’s going on the birthday list for later this year.
This is so very tempting.
