Z’akke & His Salamanders Join Kings Of War: Champions!

Mantic Games are taking pre-orders for another Kings of War: Champions set. Z’akke and his fearsome Salamanders will be joining your quick, 28mm Fantasy wargames with a new print-on-demand set.

Z'akke // Kings of War

Z'akke has an awesome miniature in his own right. In the lore of Pannithor, he is a mage-priest of the Lava Taul clan. He is a champion of his people, especially due to his success as an adventurer, which helped him garner aid from the Basileans to cure his clan. Whilst he might be a gentle and thoughtful warrior, he is also quick to anger should the good and the needy find themselves under threat. You can find out more about him in the story, Hero Falling.

This set also comes with three units that you can use for your games of Kings of War: Champions.

Haelthorn Salamanders // Kings of War

The set comes with a unit of Haelthorn Salamanders plus your Ghekkotah and Kaisenor Lancers. They are all 3D printed resin miniatures, so you're not having to worry about getting STL files and having to do the work yourself at home.

Kaisenor Lancers // Kings of War

The twenty-five miniatures in the set are printed in high-quality AmeraLabs resin in component form that you'll just need to assemble with superglue. If you're wondering about the rules for Z’akke and his company, they can be downloaded HERE.

The set looks great and I like that Mantic are using the ability to print-on-demand to get more options out there for Kings of War: Champions players. I have always been quite intrigued by the Salamanders of Kings of War, so this might be the excuse I need to actually pick up a faction for the game.
