Yet another great insight in the history and lore.
Ben and Cad are so enthousiastic, that never stops to bore me.

Ben where are the secrets?

I appreciated this seminar. Every time you two talk about lore we dive in the Fabled Realms.

Listening to people who really love what they’ve created is superb. Ben going offon a tangent is golden and just makes it better.

Couldn’t agree more. Their enthusiasm and passion sells their product and company as much as the (obvious) quality of the products themselves.

Leo (and now Az!) from Mythic Games does the same for JoA and previously Mythic Battles. And the guys from Army Painter too. So good to see people that clearly believe in their product as they do.

I love to hear these guys talk about their world. You really get the feeling that they have been there. It’s like they came home from a holiday and are describing what they saw. It’s fantastic.

The lore and the background are so detailed and so deep. There is fluff for many years and plenty of interesting and inspiering gaming content. I‘m really excited for all the things that will come for fabled realms.

It’s great to hear about the lore and background, it’s what makes a game, rules are just the means to play the game. There are good and bad rules but essentially you can use any rules system to play a game, but the background is what sets the scene, adds flavor, atmosphere and gives you the setting in which to develop your own narratives in.

Also oh my God when you get the map out & @warzan has to take away the sword. My God I spat just my coffee out laughing.

It’s always great to see a game system brought to life that is so rich in history and lore which enables new stories and campaigns to evolve over a period of time rather than the odd pick up game that serves no real purpose. I really like the ability of creating our own characters as Justin has said in a previous video make them more personalised so they mean more as we see them grow throughout a campaign and hope they live long enough to retire. I would really like 4ground to be able to re-open the pledge manager so… Read more »

Really was an amazing little break down but you guys always leave me wanting more. I’d love to see some books, whether that be graphic novels or not I think anythig within this universe would be amazing. I’d be volunteering my services to assist but I dont think Im good enough to give what you’ve got justice.
Can’t wait for more on the lore and the background

I couldn’t agree more, I would like to see more books too. Perhaps the 4Ground guys could bring out a book called “The History of the Fabled Realms” telling the history of the different factions and famous battles. This I think will give some great back stories when creating characters and warbands for the different factions.

Perhaps 4Ground could create novels following the different factions through their adventures and conflicts throughout the Fabled Realms?

Loving the lore, it’s great to see a universe which is so fleshed out! I’ve been painting a bunch of proxys/kitbashes for the game (eightfold path, drugoi and a small force loyal to a local lord) and cannae wait to get my hands on the real McCoy!

Great to hear them talk about their game with such passion but you can tell it has been a long day.

This really does sound like a well thought out setting. one off the reasons I originally got into warhammer fantasy was the lore and setting, hoping this might (someday) rival that.

One of the things that sold me in regard to this game is how strong the narrative is. The developed background and lore is truly impressive.

Really cool to see how excited the guys are about their “baby” they created. Very inspiring. Listening to the lore and background is like listening to actual historical events. Seems like a very solid and well thought out background.

Very interesting and now I see why Cad was the one in the previous live streams holding the mike and not Ben.
