That is properly epic.
They look like real wooden boats too, the craftsman kits you can but in some model places.
Hi Redben, as you are covering the historical games, perhaps you could look at GL05 ‘Stockholm 1392’ participation game. Say hi to Jan and others for me as I was supposed to be there, but my hip operation took precedence! Wish them luck. All the terrain has been scratch built by Jan.
I did see them though I didn’t see your post till afterwards so didn’t get to pass on your wishes.
The ships are just awesome.
Fantastic ships, proper inspiring stuff for the big show.
Those ships are truly impressive, esecially that vessel sinking there.
My wife’s grandfather used to make tons of these ships…..hmm mm seeing that table has given me an idea
Those ships are awesome… Could Deffo do a Black Sails inspired game with ships like those.
That’s just amazing!
What B-e-a-utiful ships.
That table is stunning…
awesome stuff! the Napoleonic general John Moore is my six times great-Grandad, he fought with the 82nd in this battle
Brilliant!!!
beautiful ships all you need is smoke when u fire a broadside.
That looks fantastic!
Are the ships kitbashed? Or are they scratchbuilt?
Love those ships, Warren you had to tick off the big dude in black with the sore throat didn’t you. You did know that in that suit it chafes 🙂
Oh My God those ships look totally amazing
Those ships look like they came out of a tiny shipyard, not a model kit!
I want to play a warcraft 2 battle game on that.
What a stunning table. Where can I get those ships, I need to have those ships….!
That is just glorious
Must make all the comments… must Win prizes!
Looks great
Like everyone I wonder where those ships come from…….truly amazing
Anyone interested in a good novel about this battle should check out The Fort by Bernard Cornwell (author of the Sharpe series). It’s a piece of American history that I think Americans are quite happy to leave out of our history books.

The table was inspired by the Cornwell book.
This table look fantastic
To all those who asked, I was told the ships were hand built though I’m unsure as to the extent to which they were scratch built.
The entire table is the work of Ron Ringrose, a man with a legendary wargames miniatures collection whose work is regularly featured in magazines and has been the subject of a coffee table book. The table was supposed to be on display last year but unfortunately Ron’s son passed away a few days before the show. This year the table was displayed in his memory.
