We recently announced that this June Beasts of War and Tabletop Nation will be joining forces to bring you a gaming con of epic proportions; the Grumpy Old Wargamers Convention!

This is going to be EPIC, with many names from across YouTube and the rest of the gaming community taking part.

Games are going to be run throughout the day, with demos of  Dystopian Wars, X-Wing, Carnevale, Dust Warfare and many others going on alongside great board games old and new, including the new game of Relic!

And of course, we will be on hand, along with all the Tabletop Nation guys, to answer any questions you might have, get some gaming going or even just to chat.

There is also going to be a painting competition running, with models being judged in the following categories:

• Best painted single mini (from any miniature range!) - Adult (Aged 16+)
• Best painted single mini (from any miniature range!) - Junior (Aged 15 and under)
• Best painted vehicle or large monster (from any miniature range!) - Adult (Aged 16+)
• Best painted vehicle or large monster (from any miniature range!) - Junior (Aged 15 and under)
• The Open Category (dioramas, units etc)

So get working on your painting skills and paint up a mini to stun the judges with!
