North Star Military Figures will be taking pre-orders soon for some new additions to the Oathmark 28mm scale Fantasy range. The Humans are getting some more reinforcements in the form of Heavy Infantry, plus there are a few more surprises too.

Human Heavy Infantry Sprue // Oathmark

This set will come packed with options for making heavily armoured Human infantry for you to use when holding the line against ranks and ranks of enemy soldiers. You get well-armoured soldiers with an array of weapons, including swords, axes and maces. You will also get options for building the command element of your Human Heavy Infantry, so you can complete your units.

Human Heavy Infantry - Miniatures // Oathmark

As you can see, you can assemble the miniatures with hand weapons and shields or with double-handed weapons. The miniatures look great and continue in the Low Fantasy style that you'd expect from the Oathmark range. This makes them great for Oathmark but they would also be perfect for games with a Tolkien-esque twist.

North Star also previewed more of the miniatures coming out alongside the new plastic set for Oathmark. It looks like we'll be getting another set of metal figures to sit alongside the plastic miniatures, including the likes of Champions, Kings, Queens and a Wizard. These look absolutely amazing.

I really like the way that North Star has consistently iterated on the Fantasy range for Oathmark, introducing better and better sculpts as it has grown. These Humans are brilliant and would be great as characters in Oathmark but they'd also be excellent in a range of 28mm scale Fantasy skirmish games too.

More Oathmark Miniatures

In addition to the Human Heavy Infantry, North Star has also been working on some additional models for you to use when enhancing your army with elite units. For example, you'll be able to pick up some new Ogres who are looking suitably surly!

It hasn't been explicitly stated what material these Ogres are going to be made of but if this is a nifty new plastic kit, that would be great. Equally, if they end up being a metal set, then they're very nice indeed and should fit into a lot of wargames.

Surma // Oathmark

Oathmark's various supplements contain loads of different beasts that go beyond the classics like dragons, trolls and such. The Surma is one such creature that could add an extra punch to an Oathmark army.
