March To Hell With 3DBreed’s New Dark Age Miniatures
July 15, 2025 by brennon
3DBreed Miniatures are back on Kickstarter with another new campaign for their March to Hell series. This time, they are taking a step back in time to the Dark Ages with some big armies for Vikings and Normans in both 15mm and 28mm.

All of the miniatures from this new collection are 3D printable STL files, so you'll get your digital offerings essentially as soon as the campaign has finished in August. You have options for printing them at 15mm scale or 28mm scale and you get full armies for both the Vikings and the Normans.

The miniatures are designed in the classic 3DBreed Miniatures style, which has a bit more of a heroic quality to them, emphasising elements of the miniatures so they really pop in the smaller 15mm scale. There are options within the pledge to build your Command figures as well as Armoured and Unarmoured Warriors, plus a set of Unarmoured Archers for both armies.

The core pledge for the range also comes with a set of Dark Age-themed terrain, so you could essentially put together a starter battle or raid very quickly using just this set. If you're someone who has been looking at playing Pillage, you might be tempted to pick up this Kickstarter bundle and use this to get you started in the game.

If this selection of miniatures looks like they could be for you, you can download some Free Samples from 3DBreed Miniatures and give them a go before you dive in. As if that wasn't enough, the Stretch Goals for this campaign unlock more than just bonus miniatures for the Vikings and Normans.
They are also producing miniatures for Carolingians, Byzantines, and Irish, as well as generic troops that can be used for a mixture of different Dark Age armies.
Could this be worth snapping up as a way to start a new Dark Age army?
