Mini Master Werks is gearing up for a new Kickstarter. They are looking to get your backing for the Studio X Mobile Painting Studio.

This neat little set is a way for you to carry your paints, brushes and accessories with you wherever you need to go so you can paint when the fancy takes you. The kit comes in at 20cm x 20cm x 33cm and can carry a whole bunch of kit. With it, you'll find...

  • Studio X is an ABS injection-moulded mobile painting studio that is impact-resistant, with a durable, easily cleaned surface.
  • Studio X allows for proper storage of multiple paintbrushes in or out of the mobile studio, with ferrules pointing down. Not only can the brush hanger be securely stored in Studio X, but it’s also wall-mountable. When not storing or transporting your brushes, it can even sit upright on your work area. The brush hanger accommodates various sized paintbrush handles, sculpting tools, hobby knives, and scrapers.
  • The dual wet palettes feature TPE seals, paint and ink wells on the top of each, and can be used as extra storage when not in use as wet palettes.
  • Two removable tool trays located at the top are convenient for clippers, files, pin vice drills, and other items.
  • The two removable paint/miniature holding areas are perfect for transporting your latest miniatures project and the colours specific to them. The four shelves are 2” (5cm) deep and can hold up to 12 standard dropper style bottles (Vallejo, The Army Painter, ProAcryl, etc) or up to 12 standard Citadel pots (stacked) or 6 taller Citadel pots/P3 pots per shelf for between 24 and 48 assorted paint pots!

You've also got a removable and mountable brush hanger, two wet palettes, tool trays, and dedicated space for paints and miniatures.

The Kickstarter is live RIGHT NOW which means that you can go and check out more about it for yourself. I think this is a fun little option for those that want to try and keep their work area tidy and find themselves moving their paints and hobby materials around from clubs to home and elsewhere.

Make sure to let us know your thoughts about it in the comments below. As mentioned above, it seems very modern and looks like it could be a good tool in the arsenal.

Are you going to be getting involved with this Kickstarter?
