North Star Release Oathmark’s Dwarf Heavy Infantry

North Star has released the new Oathmark plastic kit for the Dwarf Heavy Infantry. You can now start to build up a heavily armoured option for your Dwarf army, acting as a bulwark against the enemy.
The set contains enough bits to make thirty different miniatures. All of them can be armed with either double-handed weapons or hand weapons and shields. Either way, they will be making use of their heavy armour to stand in the midst of the chaos on the battlefield.
As well as having options for those building larger regiments, you'll also find kits for making a standard bearer and an officer too. I quite like the helmet designs here, drawing inspiration from classic interpretations of Dwarves and Historical elements too.
You can mix and match with existing plastic sets as well, so if you have some of the others from North Star you can play around even more!

These Oathmark sets are slowly building into a good core range. As mentioned they are interchangeable with all the other Frostgrave/Oathmark box sets so you have a lot of scope to make your warbands unique.
I have been hoping to see them expand the range with various mounted units
Goblin wolf riders are next!

That is the word on Twitter. The sculptor was at Salute on the Osprey stand and that is what he had told people. 3ups of the wolves were on show and it looks as if he was working on the Goblins. No saddles on the wolves so they can be used as a pack of wolves as well.

I absolutely love these North Star kits. I’m painting a second small batch of cultists and assembling a third. I’ve played with three of their Frostgrave kits and have a couple more to bash about with and they’re all superb.
If I were after some dwarfs, I’d be all over these.
Give them some curly beards and they’d be great Chaos Dwarfs. 😉
Definitely adding these to my army. I’ll use them for Saga: Age of Magic and Warlords of Erehwon.
These Oathmark miniatures are absolutely my favorite plastic minis around. Really cool classic fantasy look.
Wow. Love the proportions on these as well. They’re not humans sawed off at the knees with feet stuck on the stumps, as you see with most other companies.
