Plo Koon & Starfighter Cards Spoiled For Star Wars: Destiny

With Star Wars day in full swing, it seemed apt to show off some of the spoilers for Star Wars: Destiny that showed up from Fantasy Flight Games this week. Firstly, we have the spoiled character card for Plo Koon.
This gives you a look at one of the big characters coming as part of Way Of The Force which will be dropping onto tabletops later this year. As well as being an adept fighter Plo Koon also have a superb ability which draws on those around him. I love the idea of pairing him with low points cost characters and using them to your advantage.
An immediate idea was to pair him with a Padawan so that you could get a weapon onto him for cheaper. Of course, this then expands when you start to look beyond Blue and into Red and Yellow decks.
Jedi Starfighter
As well as the main man himself we also saw his Starfighter also shown off via attendees at events this week.
It works, as you might imagine, very well within the confines of Plo Koon but could be used for others as well. I love the idea of giving your Non-Unique Characters a big boost and making them more playable on the tabletop. Afterall, if the enemy is concentrating on getting rid of them they are leading Plo Koon to do some damage of his own.

Interesting. By the way Plo Koon’s niece was also Jedi but that could be only in Legends.
