Resistance Ships Cruise Into View For TTCombat’s Dropfleet

This one slipped through the net a little but for those who are playing TTCombat's Dropfleet Commander, there are a few more options for the Resistance. Leading the way we have the Resistance Battleships.
The set will allow you to either build the Trident or Olympus ships which are absolutely covered in guns. You certainly do see the enterprising nature of the Resistance here in both their array of armaments and that dashing paint scheme.
The ships look like that have been cannibalised from all manner of different vessels and they have been created to give the Scourge, PHR and more a real run for their money. I think the Resistance is a faction which allows you to be very inventive, especially when it comes to the painting of these models.
Battlecruisers Ahoy
As well as the Battleships above you can also pick up a pair of Battlecruisers too.
This time around you've got the option to build up both the Phalanx or Tribune when you get the set. Again, they are cobbled together out of different ships and are armed to the teeth with all sorts of borrowed technology.

Love the new ship’s the battleship looks more a submarine I think.
They make me think of a mashup between Space: Above and Beyond and the Colony Wars PS2 games.
Which in no way is a bad thing.
These are some great-looking space ships, but nothing about them really screams “Resistance.” I wish the cobbled-together look of their vehicles from Dropzone would have carried over into their bigger offerings, but they’re still nice.
Space going resistance, like their ground counterparts, are a mix of two things. You have the old but lavish military designs like the battlecruisers here or the ‘scrap fleet’ of salvaged and repurposed vessels of bewildering variety like you can build out of the battleship (hundreds of variations in how it can go together with choice of prows and engines among other stuff).
You can make a resistance fleet very eclectic indeed, or reign it in a bit with the sleeker military prows.
I love the look of these ships! ??
