More Kill Team, More Bug
Still doing work on the Kill Team tools a bit. Not going to be completely finished this week, but the idea is set. Have to buy a dark copper or a metallic red to finish things off.
Besides that, worked on some bug base. Might as well get all the bases done.
Canada Day, Distracted by Kill Team
My local group is doing Kill Team on Monday, so I’ve been distracted doing some work on the rulers and barricades for that. Ways to go.
Still, I have to work on this project every day, so did a little work on the Ruffian with the °.o eyes and then painted the remaining Porigata limbs and edges black. Progress is progress.
End of June, Pickin' Away
Did some Kill Team stuff for Monday, but generally picking away at Stargrave. Just bases and a few colors on the one lady Ruffian; decided that maroon (I think? Chaotic Red, anyway) and deep blue worked nicely enough. Gotta finish the Ruffians and move on soon.Working Late, But Gotta Do Something...
Small one today, just drybrushing Skeleton Bone onto six bases and Strong Tone washing the other two. Pirate bases almost done...Still Tired
Some Desert Yellow and washes on the Pirates, and some black on the Kill Team ruler. I know I want red/black/gold and blue/white/silver, but I might need one more colour.Miserably Hot Day
26C (80F) in the office today, which wiped me out. So I just worked on bases on the Pirates and some Kill Team rulers.Defend the Ship Forge
The anime Ruffian eyes are a little °.• , but that’s only noticable super close up, and besides, I’m still a rookie painter. A certain amount of suck is all right. Good enough, keep going.
Also building a ship. It’s a bit of a mess, but it has its charm. Hopefully I’ll be able to hack it into a bit of a passible lump of scenery.
Using All the Paints In the Box
Slowly working through the Ruffians. Everything is at least partially done. Lots of details and cleanup. Ended up clashing styles, with anime, pastel, urban and retro styles. Hopefully the dark jeans helps pull the group together. I did want variety.
