About the Project

I've been waiting for so long for the bases to arrive for my 0-12 force, but they finally came week before last. Now I could have done this that weekend, but I only get every second weekend to paint, the other weekend is to play games with the painted figures. With my terminal illness, I really want to play as much as I can, before the Brain Cancer catches me, so I never miss a club meet. This weekend is the painting weekend, and I'm really trying to get the 0-12 ready to play with. Not that it's actually my intention to take to next meet. Next meet, if I make it, I'd like to take my Japanese Secessionist Army and try using the Aragoto bikers I recently painted for them, along with the Kuroshi Rider that I painted ages ago when they dropped the whole Secessionist box.

With the delay for my Clash of Katanas army, I thought I best do some kind of hobby and I assembled some new 0-12 stuff, mostly non-human stuff, except for the Bluecoat.

I went to put them all away, but noticed I’d neglected the LOF marks…
so a few simple marks to get them done. Now the Infinity shelf is a whole lot more full.

Models come off the temporary bases easily enough, and tech pieces/tactical rock like stuff is removed. I got to the end and had an extra base, which was strange, but then I remembered that I had the exclusive Knauf figure from the graphic novel commission painted, and seeing as he has a 0-12 profile, I gave the spare too him.
The 0-12 is ready for play.

The arduous task of making all the edges black, to get them to an even colour before deciding on what to use colour wise for the LoF. I made a huge mess through the process, and spent so long fixing it up again. Tomorrow I can hopefully get the troops on them.

The Orange works, but there is some details on there I might like to pick out.

Checking the Colour Wheel to see what colours I should be using, with my 0-12 painting in alternating Green, and Purple, I went with the complimentary colour of Orange, specifically the Life Color Matt Orange, which was a huge pain in the arse, and took hours, with so many cleanings through out.

Starting the Gluing.

So I start gluing down the 1st Layer. I did of course do a test up one, just to make sure that after taking the protective paper on the underside off the shiny, smooth acrylic would glue well to the plastic bases. It did seem to work, and so I proceeded.
