As well as all the fever brewing up around Star Wars from Atomic Mass Games for both Shatterpoint and Legion, we also got some great previews during the Ministravaganza for Marvel: Crisis Protocol!

Iron Lad // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Kicking things off, we got a bit of Stark Tech in the mix with the introduction of the Young Avenger Iron Lad (the kid who would one day be Kang!) alongside more suited and booted individuals. You'll also get Rescue leaping into the fray to do what she does best.

This pack will also come with the villainous Iron Monger. Being subtle goes out the window and instead, you're going to be blasted to pieces and punched into oblivion by this fellow.

Not to be outdone, the multiverse-traversing Kang the Conqueror will also be making his debut within the world of Marvel: Crisis Protocol, complete with stats and abilities that are befitting such a powerful villain from the Marvel universe.

These are some very nice miniatures, I think you'll agree. Atomic Mass Games have been stepping it up with successive releases for Marvel: Crisis Protocol, I think and manage to capture the comic book feel of these different heroes and villains whilst also introducing little nods here and there to their cinematic counterparts.

Going Cosmic

As well as a bit of a Stark focus, we also have some cosmic characters joining the fight.

Adam Warlock // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Adam Warlock brings his strength and power to the tabletop with an awesome miniature showing him rising to the skies thanks to the power of the Infinity Gem. I like how, despite the addition of all of the floating terrain elements, this doesn't appear flimsy, so you're not going to be losing him to a badly-packed box!

Adam Warlock, Moondragon & Quasar // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Adam Warlock will come in a new set alongside Moondragon and Quasar (Phyla Vell), each of whom gets brilliant miniatures that make use of super cool comic book-style effects. Moondragon's awesome sphere of power looks very cool, although make sure you paint that separately before assembly!

Asgardian Might

The mighty heroes of Asgard are not to be outdone with some new miniatures on the way for this Affiliation as well.

Valkyrie & Warriors Three // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

An upcoming set will feature Valkyrie mounted on the back of Aragon, offering her plenty of manoeuvrability on the battlefield. She is then backed up by the daring Warriors Three, who would be perfect alongside Lady Sif, Thor and maybe even Loki if you were going for a fun theme.

Sentinel Power

Moving to the world of mutants, you could also throw your lot in with some Sentinel-based villains.

Bastion, Nimrod & Omega Sentinel // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

The Sentinel program can become fully operational with the addition of a new set featuring Bastion, Nimrod and an Omega Sentinel alongside the Sentinel Affiliation, which will allow you to dive into the eradication of mutants like the damned X-Men with extreme prejudice.

Operation Zero Tolerance // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

This also comes alongside a specific Card Pack for Operation: Zero Tolerance, which features a set of campaign missions for playing out this moment in comic history.

Hulk Smash!

If you wanted the latest Captain America and wanted more Hulk in your life, then there's also a new pack coming out featuring some villains (and a hero) that should sate your appetite for ultimate destruction.

The Leader, Red Hulk & Sensational She-Hulk // Marvel: Crisis Protocol

This set features the Red Hulk himself, smashing his way through everything in his way alongside The Leader, who might have orchestrated all of these plans. Sent to stop them, Sensational She-Hulk leaps into the fray. Maybe you could play out something of a dangerous courtroom drama with her?

Powerful Threats & Upcoming Miniatures

If you thought they were a dangerous threat, how about the terrifying Onslaught, who will also be popping up in the near future for Marvel: Crisis Protocol?

Last but not least, Atomic Mass Games also showcased some of the new Character and Affiliation Packs coming out for different models.

Here you can see the new one for the Sentinels but also one for Captain America and The Avengers, heroes like Namor and Black Panther, plus additional villains to set against the might of the X-Men.
