Glide is up on Kickstarter taking inspiration from the desolate lands in Dune. Providing a solo RPG adventure in the form of a Zine, bringing players into the harsh desert and baron wasteland as a native, in hopes to collect and forage to bring the planet back to civilisation after the ruins of war remain.

Players will need to guide their way across the desolate lands, hoping to explore and scavenge all they can to return fruition to the planet. The planet is a desert land, and players will hope to muster up scraps, materials, artefacts and crucial pieces of technology to level up. Gaining new skills, abilities, and resources to get their feet planted through levelling up to ultimately score points to enrol as a full-fledged guild member. Hoping to regrow what was once lost in a time of ruin.

The game is focused on exploration, taking away any heavy combat which you may find in other TTRPGs, providing a more relaxed adventure of peace without the concerns of running into a bit of conflict each time you turn a corner.

Solo RPGs that include a journal are one of my favourite adventures to escape in. I often find happiness at the pen to paper, so when solo RPGs encourage the use of a notepad - I am always keen to journey through the adventure and dive into the exploration.

The Zine will be available in both digital and physical formats which will contain rules, artwork, card prompts and much content for players to immerse themselves in the deserted world.

All that is needed to play is a deck of cards, a couple of tokens to hand, a few D6's a decent pen and your journal and you will be all ready to head off solo into the world of Glide.
