Cyanide Tease Blood Bowl II Video Game Via Facebook
February 26, 2013 by brennon
Cyanide have teased us with a logo that most likely hints to a new version of their video game, Blood Bowl. Check out the logo they posted on Facebook below...
While this probably doesn't mean we're going to see a change in the rules from Games Workshop it does mean an engine overhaul, mechanical changes, updated graphics and fixing anything that's missing.
I have to say that personally I prefer using the FUMBBL Java version of Blood Bowl but the Cyanide game has been quite fun in the past.
Now holding a big sack full of salt here could this be a hint to something else happening this year on the Blood Bowl front?
What do you think?

While I hate to focus on the negative, the way Cyanide have supported their Blood Bowl games so far has really bugged me, with each “new” game coming with a few extra teams and pitches which really should have been sold as expansions / DLC to the base game with a price to match.. instead of making each edition standalone and not compatible with each other.
So while I am really looking forward to an engine overhaul in the sequel and perhaps some extra in-game commentary I really hope Cyanide have learned something from their previous releases. If they bring out “Bloodbowl II – Two Extra Teams Edition!” ten months later with the same RRP as Bloodbowl II then I definitely won’t be investing any more of my money in their games.
Aye the way it is at the moment, it’s not the greatest game to get into via PC. That’s why I use FUMBBL myself.
