What’s In The Box: Blitzkreig, Relics Orcnar & The Infinity Gao-Tarsos
July 31, 2013 by dignity
On this weeks What's in The Box Justin is joined by Carlos to have a look at the Gao-Tarsos for Infinity's Tohaa faction. Warren then breaks out Bolt Action with Alessio and Andy and explores the amazing Blitzkreig box for the Germans. Finally Gavin from Tor Gaming drops in for a look at the Orcnar starter set.
And on a side-note check out the Infinity Bootleg Mini's!

Justin cracks me up every time. Good show!
yay more stuff for zee germans
I generally try to post what I think of the models featured in the unboxings here, but it’s late, I’ve got work in the morning and I want that Blitzkrieg Army Box so I’ll got nothing else to say today 🙂
I think Warren liked the 4 shot machine gun 🙂
Loved seeing Warren’s face when he saw the German tank gun! “is that the gun?!”
The Bolt Action set packed with sprues, I am glad they are putting some rifles in hands as it can be a pain to put together and time consuming.
Chuckling at the apologetic way the “puny” early war guns are mentioned.
Gao-Tarsos is an amazing model – fiddly to put together, for sure, but looks fantastic once it gets together
Thats my only issue with infinity, the models look amazing when they are together, but they can be INFURIATING to assemble
Great to see what’s up and coming.
Yummy.
Gao-Tarsos looks top notch.
..Achtung!!!!!…Love the tohaa!!!!!!!!…
Loving the look of bolt action it looks like a great game, I was thinking of starting up a FOW army but the recent bolt action coverage has got me leaning more towards that at the moment. The rules appear pretty slick with the added bonus of cool looking minis.
That was a great unboxing … I really gonna make my way to Bolt Action …
BTW : Hanomag (Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG) was a German producer of steam locomotives, tractors, trucks and military vehicles in Hanover.
The Sd.Kfz. 251 was nicknamed “Hanomag” ’cause it was the single most important and iconic military vehicle to be designed and built by Hanomag during World War II. 😉
Yet another great video. And by the way, Hanomag is the name of a producer, hence the name of the half-track.
ARGH!!! Mitch beat me to it…
Love all the minis coming out! Need more time to play all the games!
Flames of war and bolt action really make one want to get stuck in then we get orcnar and tohaa awesome!
Love that German Army, tempted to start historical
Okay damn it, I’ll buy some Bolt Action minis already. Sheesh, you and your promoting of awesome things… 😀
I hear you, man. My first ever order to Warlord went in today.
I want to march through neutral Belgium. I think the box set may help.
I have bought one of this 1000 points of german guys for my father, he dont know yet, but I am going to paint it and give to him to play both of us to Disposable Heroes (Iron Ivan Games).
Have a nice day

Looks awesome. Can’t wait to get into this.
Hope to see Carlos back soon. I love infinity and especially Tohaa
Another great episode and thanks for all the awesome giveaways.
Bolt Action looks like a good game. and Blitzkreig box for the Germans kicks ass!!! I want it!!!
Some of the Infinity models are gorgeous. I think I’m going to have to pick some up just to paint!
bolt action alsome!
great video, once again
Awesome, have to get me some more German models.
Great show guys!
I’d love to start a Bolt Action army. The more I see of the game the more I want to play. Thanks guys!
Nice vid thanks guys ;0)
I was wondering what the quality of the mini’s from warlord games was, but they look awesome. Starting bolt action, for sure! ( maybe win a set, to sart with :-))
These are 28mm, They do look nice and are much more fun to paint & modell comapred to 15mm.
Beeing cheap I will use my 15mm Flames of war minis thiugh for Bolt Action (All one need is smaller bases).
Gonna have to give a shout for Tor Gaming
Good to see Gavin’s little critters getting some love they thoroughly deserve
Infinity never ceases to amaze where it concerns beautiful minis. I know that there’s already one mini from the CA (can’t remember the name, it’s the Hungrie’s controller) that I’m gonna buy just to own and paint. I don’t even play CA.
Nice sprues for bolt action. This games looks great, can’t wait to try it.
I’m so tempted by Bolt Action, but the wife says if i start any more games she’s going to leave me…oh well, im really going to miss her….
A very nice what’s in the box review. I’ll be picking up a copy of bolt action at this weekend’s claymore war games show in Edinburgh. A great wee convention with lots of traders and excellent games – well worth popping into if you are anywhere near Edinburgh.
That box looks a nice place to start.
That was some gorgeous infinity sculpts, love the minute detail and textures, some thing i really miss from the current bloated GW plastic CAD works.
Would love to paint up a Bolt Action army
Must… resist… the urge to… start Bolt Action…
The Blitzkrieg German starter army set is a cool idea, I like the format, a great way to start a new theatre of operations in the war with the Bolt Action game.
I wouldn’t say no to some free minis that let me try a new game
I have been continuing to look at a few WW2 games and although I have really been looking smaller scale to keep costs (relatively) low I have to say the minis for Bolt Action are fantastic.
Was going to order some BA Germans this weekend after watching your vids. Looks like an awesome game. Let’s hope I win some to save me some money.
Loved the Bolt Action vids, The game seems refreshingly different and fun. I added Bolt action to my christmas list as options for the Wife to pick up, but of course a German Starter army would be fantastic to have : )
I might have to take a look at those Bolt Action mini’s – might work for my ‘Conscript’ Imperial Guard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JDkdc246QQ great looking box that Blitzkrieg set, lovely looking models and makes it easy to get into the thick of it straight away – tempted to pick up a few as birthday/Christmas presents see if I can some more chums into Bolt Action!
My husband hasn’t stopped talking about this Bolt action game since he saw your demo videos. a set of Germans would make an excellent birthday gift and might shut him up for a bit at least : )
According to my wargaming vidow it’s damned if you do damned if you don’t.
Better do sometimes and one is happy she says…
Love the detail on the early war infantry sprues!
Bolt action. A much needed 28mm skirmish WW2 game.
Well I caved in and ordered the Bolt Action rulebook after watching the demo videos with Warren for the third time, I did well resisting FOW but I folded like a deck chair after the first part of the Bolt Action video.
A friend was JUST telling me about BOLT, and in my “interwebz” search I’ve been turned on to you guys. Great site, and nice vids.
I would KILL for a BOLT starter army (not literally… well maybe, it depends who it was).
Keep up the good work.

Another great Bolt Action video. I enjoyed the previous two demo videos so much I ordered the rule book and have the German and British army books on the way!! Keep up the great work and who knows, maybe Warren vs Dave Bolt Action for the win…..
Nothing in the Bolt Action box to take out a tank, Lads one bit of wire and give me a G
that starter army box is rad 🙂
Great unboxing and after watching the demo of Bolt Action I had to go out and pick up the rules. Good Job Guy’s
What happened to the Relics ring-pull cans?
Got to love bolt action… I know i do
Enjoyed the Bolt Action review. I like the different options which all of the infantry have. I also enjoy that you get an entire army in one box. This is a great beginning for anyone who wants to start out and if you want to play mid or late war, just switch out the tank and infantry gun and you are ready to go!
Keep up the Bolt Action/Flames of War coverage, I love it!
Well a chance to win some free tanks is always great. If I get Germans troopers to use as cannon fodder then all the better.
Thanks for introducing me to Bolt Action! Made my first order with Warlord games
Brett
Yeah, bolt action just looks amazing.
The models, and especially the options on infantry are incredible.
I’m really liking the unboxing format at the moment. While the old format was great fun, doing it during interviews with the producers is a good way to see how they see their product!
after seeing the demo vid i’m super keen to win that prize!!!
Count me in and fingers crossed.
I really like the look of the new starter set for Bolt Action. Wouldn’t mind to find one on my doormat. 😉
nice unboxing. cant deside weather i like relics or not. but hats of to tor gaming for originality.
Have to say that I like the Bolt Action stuff. I currently have British Paras and German Panzergrenadiers. Lovely little models.
Always wanted to try Relics though, but I do not know anyone that plays this, which is a shame as I love the Brits 🙂
Mick
Awesome Video guys, keep up the excellent work!!
I need some ww2 gaming in my life
Hi gang, my entry for the Bolt Action Blitzkreig box. Thanks for the BA coverage, the game is fun and the minis are very nice.
I really hope warlord brings out sets for the other armies, because this one looks really great
think bolt action minis are getting better with every release they do and the blitzkreig germans look fecking great much better quality that the late war 1s
I see what you’re saying about breaking up the units silhouette with the lying German trooper but I’d rather they were standing, kneeling or running. Still looks like a fantastic box though.
Bolt action is certainly looking interesting
great vid
in early war they still were in the old ways!!!
Too.. Many… Games…
Must… Not… Buy… More…
That is a great big box of fun for Bolt Action
Nice presentation.
I like that you talk with the producers now on Bolt action- it gives a lot when to estiamte a new game.
Never really liked historical games. but i have to say I´m seriously tempted by the bolt action models.
Hopefully we will see a bolt action week or bolt action academy.
Boom! another great ep
awesome new minis
Loving all the WW2 stuff on BoW lately.
Bolt Action looks amazing so a Blitzkrieg box would be very nice 🙂
Relics has some really nice minis. Looking forward to their fantasy football game.
Infinity models: stunning(as always).
Nice Bolt action box… good army for a start… and they looks fantastic
