Today Justin & Lloyd have taken control of the show to bring you three new unboxings. Kicking things off we have The Guild Riflemen & Izamu, and The Armour for Malifaux with the lovely Kat.
Mike then joins us to get a peek at the new light Warjacks for the Retribution of Scyrah.
Then James joins us to check out the Báo troops and Penthesilea, the Amazon Warrior for Infinity. Hope you enjoy the show and feel free to drop in any ideas or thoughts on the unboxings!

Love it! And by being first, I have doomed myself to not winning anything. 🙁
Great looking minis, would be a great way to start off my malifaux collection!
I really like the new Malifaux plastic and have assembled a few of them myself. I really think it’s a shame Privateer Press use a different kind of plastic that requires super glue instead of plastic cement. In my opinion it makes for a weaker bond between parts which means the kits are more fragile and require storage in foam instead of the Malifaux model which I store in an old tea tin and never have any problem with.
I rather like this format for the unboxings and its great to see that a girl (Kat) has joined the team.
Epoxy is my fave. I even eat it on toast.
I want to win 🙂
hahaha nice arse! You are not alone, it also crossed my mind!
The Riflemen look awesome, hope I win! 😀
That Infinity biker is one of the best models of the year so far.. just the style of it, the girls pose on the back (the way she has 2 fingers hovering over the brake), her icy and impassive stare – even the way the swingarm comes straight off the engine casing (bike nerds will know this is something concept-design engineers are toying with) .. the whole thing just reeks of thought, effort and passion put into it. Sodding brilliant.
The new format is great, you should def keep it up. The Izamu and Penthesilea models are just awesome, might have to start some new factions.
Feel proud Kat, after teaching me Malifaux at Tabletop Day I have bought myself the Death Marshals box set. I am considering getting either those riflemen or Nino Ortega next for some more range power. Also maybe some Austringers as, while they are not as powerful, their range is very useful as is their ability to pass on orders.
The Penthesilea model is sooo good. I would love one, but she is sold out at all the usual stores I buy from.
It’s a Naginata Justin
Now can I win a prize for Nerd Rage
are you sure? i thought there was more of a curve to the Naginata? Can’t remember the names off top of my head but there were a variety of spear like weapons used by the samurai possibly another one of them.
Pretty sure Naginata like most weapons do vary in shape, some are quite straight some very narrow. this one looks very broad and looks more like the kind of halberd carried by classic chinese.
There is another that would fit the bill (ha ha). A Bisento as far as I know there are only descriptions of the weapon no examples.
Do I qualify for Nerd now 🙂
fair nuff :L I’ve always been better with European rather than oriental weapons myself so I’ll bow to your knowledge 🙂
Izamu the armor is lookin’ fly in rules as well as sculpt
I like the new format, I think it works best.
love the malifaux minis
Nice format on this one guys & lady.
One thing though – why didn’t you show the Bao bodies?
You obviously lined them for the camera but never showed them.
Those sure are some great looking minis
In it to win it! Liking the overall unboxing format and discussion, but also like to see the models built like on the old vid posts with Darrell, Jon and Andy. Good work by Kat and James too.
Awwww, they make a cute couple 😉
Mike and Justin? They certainly do… 😛
I was thinking of starting Malifaux. Winning these would help sway me.
Loving the look of the Riflemen
Looking good
I wasn’t very sure of how good the plastics are for Malifaux, but seeing them live on vid makes me less wary, they seem to have good flow on the drapery and details.
I have a few of the new plastic kits from Malifaux and they are without a doubt some of the best plastics I have seen. It really shows what can be done with plastic when the mold is right, process good, plastic mix perfect and the professionalism to make it happen is all in place. I’ve seen other companies true plastic injection mold kits and it’s almost laughable when you compare it to the quality Malifaux is dishing out.
Penthesilea is an awesome model. Also really liked the malifaux unboxing so great job Justin and Kat. Keep it up!
Malifaux and infinity for the win.
Really love the mini’s, can you do one for the new treasure hunters box as well?
certainly enjoy the new format although felt was a little long maybe? Still looking into malifaux and really loving the models got a rough idea of what i’m grabbing when 2nd ed drops… and my girlfriend is after something to paint so might let her at them shes soooo much better than me.
My suspicion is they may be separate kits to prevent magnetizing as it is reducing sales? i don’t like to think privateer would do that but they are after all a business. But i really like the models and agree with you Justin the gorgon is a nice tricky little piece that’ll annoy you’re opponent to no end.
Infinity… I really like the models but nothings really grabbed me yet there… not sure why although seeing them painted by guys at my club is kind of getting me too look at aleph with the whole greek god/hero feel.
Again great show and nice to see some new faces keep it up!
I need those mini’s in my life, like right now.
There is nothing like Anime Biker Ladies done well. And those Guild Rifle men looks fantastic. I do like these videos for Malifaux minis since most of the time they show them off in 3d pictures not the actual mini.
I’d love to win those Malifaux figures.
A good show. Perhaps a bit too long as someone else mentioned. I absolutely love Penthesilea even though I’m a Haqq player 😀
Some beautiful looking minis there, those riflemen are quite special.
Those are some good lookin minis!
That Izamu looks dope, damn I wanna paint it up!
I love Malifaux, and what they’re doing with plastics is pretty damned amazing.
One Hour of unboxing goodness !
I really liked it. Length suits me well as I watch BoW, when I work on minis, this way I dont have to flip through content every 3-10 minutes. Could imagine many people enjoy BoW during hobby hours.
BoW ramped their game really up recenlty. Best hobby related content in the entire websphere, thing guess I will get a backstage pass now, after so many years and hours enjoying their labours fruits time is ripe to give something back.
I’m like you. I watch as I paint, or listen to be exact.
Malifaux are just the best miniatures ever.
i never win……sniff sniff……..please send me a prize…prety please!!!!
Very stylish minis. Would be proud to paint any of them!
The Riflemen and Izamu are some of my favorite Malifaux plastics… I wonder if having the crouching riflemen ducking the strike from Izamu would look good on his base?
The Guild Rifleman and the Infinity Penthesilia are both lovely models. I can’t wait to get my hands on both of them.
hard to wound is just a -flip to the damage hard to kill is when you take a model down to his last wound and then you would have to do another attack to kill the model but apart from that you done a really good job
Kat knew that, she was just a wee bit nervous and slipped there is all
Riflemen look amazing…will have to get back into Malifaux.
Hope I win. As these would make a great birthday present for my uncle.
I want to win. Thank you for the show, please more malifaux! Version 2 is on the way, so that would be a good reason for a mali week!
I’d love to win something guys, thanks for the unboxing.
liking the new show format a lot, great stuff
Those malifaux plastics look extremely spiffy 🙂
Isn’t that Armor a little brother of Full Metal Alchemist? With a buff as well. Great vid, now I need to start playing another system, good job:/
I really like Malifaux. I’m looking forward to the new rules immensely.
I have to agree. The format of the show is great.
Never tried Malifaux, but would love to give it a try.
New Malifaux stuff looks so ffff … lippin nice. Please send them to me!
As someone who may have once passed a negative opinion on the old format I think this is a big improvement over that. Much more informative on the minis and what they can do and by keeping each one to two presenters it kept the discussion focused. I’m not sure the links added anything and there might even be mileage in releasing each one as its own separate 20 minute show spread out over the week.
Awesome minis love malifaux 🙂 but can’t decide wich faction to start :/
The armor looks nice.
Izamu is a beast
I’m loving the new show format! It’s nice to see non-GW games getting more ‘n more love from BoW.
Great show as usual. And covered my 3 favorite games. Penthesilea Penthesilea (and Ajax) actually have me considering doing a 2nd Infinity faction.
Enjoying the new format, I like the little bits in between and the round up at the end.
Now if I end up with some riflemen, I may just like it even more 😉
I am impessed by the quality malifaux achieved with their plastic kits, some of the Loser metal casts did not convince me, but these definitely did.
Stupid autocorrection if you type on an IPhone with german setting. Loser was supposed to be older ;(
I almost do not want to win. I would start Malifaux in a heartbeat then, which I really do not have either the time or money for.
Those rifleman lok stunning! I would use them as cygnar rifleman
I want that epic t-shirt! Also I really dig the new “What’s in the box?” format, really enjoying the series
More great models on offer , if they are free then they’ll be even nicer 🙂
I found it funny watching @dignity flirtying…with a mini.
Yay Infinity! Great episode guys.
Loving the Malfaux minis! Izamu is a beast and the Guild Riflemen add a nice change to the usual 4ss drops for the Guild. Loving the new content you guys are coming out with. Professional (well, most of the time 🙂 ) and very informative. Keep up the good work all!
The Malifaux mini’s look really cool. Maybe its time for a Malifuax week???
Im gonna wait with buying untill the new ruleset is out. But the mini’s looks awesome. Hope to bag some here.
Malifaux is starting to look better and better. The thing that kept me away for a while was that I didn’t like the figs. They are changing that.
Never one to have a problem with great figs is Infinity. Penthesilea is a fantastic model. I’d love to have her just to paint.
Izamu will look great in my new yan lo crew I’ll have to pick him up sometime I’m also a fan of yin the penangalen that thing looks meaner than a rabid dingo with a penchant for castrating people
Liking the new format. Enjoy getting as many points of view on the uses of new units. Sometimes you miss something in the descriptions and stat lines and abilities…it’s nice to have other people discuss.
Enjoy the new faces as well!
Cheers!
Awesome looking models there, really liking the looks of the new plastics. More Malifaux and more Kat please =D
mmmmmmmmmmmmm shiny
…by the way, Justin you really should ask her out ! <3 <3 <3
…gotta take back my adivice. Shes already in half.
realy like the new format. those infinity minis look amazing.
I am loving the Malifaux plastics as well, beautiful quality.
my soulstone miner loves guild rifleman, you add a little salt and pepper and they taste just like a new corpse on the board
Any possibility to get Kat in for a learn to play malifeux video, seems to have that nice balance of enthusiam and knowledge without going to the massively technical out of the gate
I’m not allowed to buy any more Malifaux miniatures until I’ve finished painting the ones I’ve got . . . but if I win some, that totally doesn’t count, right?
Was unsure about malifaux at first, but the card playing is more fun than i thought it would be; even though it put me off at first. Anyway, great show.
Both those Malifaux releases are so very pretty. I love the detail in the new Malifaux plastics.
I like the new format as many have said, but I also agree an hour is stretching it quite a bit although I do appreciate you all going into detail about the models. That said, the retribution models are very nice, and have always caught my eye. Also, I’m highly impressed with the new Malifaux plastics, they look quite nice and honestly look to be some of the most top notch plastics out on the market.
On the other hand it is not TV, you are not forced to watch it all at once. Can come back anytime to any section you want.
Great to see some Malifaux unboxings. Keep up the good work guys.
Could always use more riflemen. They’re beautiful models.
Loving the Malifaux models. Would really like the riflemen for my little guild gang! Hint
If I win the malifix models then i am obliged to start playing the game i guess
For those who read this
Hard to wound: gives negative modifier to the damage flip.
Hard to kill: you can’t be reduced to 0 wounds when you have 2 or more.
Armor substracts a number of Dg according to the modifier
Although we will what things changes in little less then a week when the public beta for M2E goes up.
Already have the biker chick. Exciting 🙂
I WANT MOAR MALIFAUX!
Malifaux looks really cool and a nice way to have some more mini options for IKRPG since the two game lines have similar sort of style.
awesome miniatures
Malifaux just gets better and better. Bring on the second edition!
Love these so much.
Wow, nice releases for the three games.
I faithfully play Neverborn and have a Kirai starter box for near future use someday, after seeing the Izamu the armor open box. The Guild riflemen may tempt me to start a Guild faction… I need a second job real soon!!!
Izamu is both a tremendous model and is tremendous on the table top. With Kirai’s crew, he can be turned into a spirit, which allows here to swap him around the battlefield, and it further protects him from physical attacks. It’ll be interesting to see how 2.0 changes him.
Love Izamu… what a guy!
Not sure on the new format. Seems a little bit too long. Also I like the format with 3-4 people sat round discussing the miniatures rather than just 2.
Infinity amazon biker is great, though war jacks also looks good
The minis look awesome… am I to late? XD
Infinity really do make some excellent models. It’s getting harder and harder to resist starting an Aleph force as my second army… I’m a big fan of the new Malifaux plastics as well!! Lots of great models around at the moment! 🙂
The Biker was the best IMHO. Love Infinity.
Love the malifaux, would rather field these figures than be on the receiving end.
Kat was excellent, very informative and good to see a female role model especially as im trying to get my daughter interested in the game.
I win, nothing to see here… move along…
Now Worthy has gone, taking my source of these games, I think I should win 😉
The Riflemen are awesome,
So much stuff i want. I still need to find someone willing to play malifaux with me.
Nice!
