So tonight saw a slew of corporation pics unleashed to the masses.
Lets take a look shall we?
These bad boys will be available in the resin plastic material (word reached us that there has been improvements in the material used in this process - which is a great step forward), while im sure many of you would have liked to see them in plastic, I'm quite pleased as recently Mantic's resin and metals have been far superior to their plastics so this bodes well.
So guys what's the verdict?

They look great, cues from many different silver screen and digital futuristic soldiers. And I expect they would work amazingly as Ellysian drop troops. I like the resin / plastic that mantic use, I prefer it to metal. Dibd on the Rico’s Roughnecks platoon name!

Starship troopers:
Space fleet? check.
Infantry? check.
Armoured support? erm..
Air Force? nope.
Weird how a spacefaring military industrial leadership, completely forgets to equip its armed forces with two major components of industrialised warfare..

Nice troops! Kind of halo/SST design and they will fit in to many wargame/skirmish systems.
Still not impressed by Mantics presentation of minis though – they really need to pony up some real cash and get super pro paint jobs on their stuff.
Looking pretty good. Again liking the whole Halo ODST look.
I’m not into them that much, they look oddly proportioned to me. I’d go with the space dwarves with mantic I think.
They look nicely animated. The whole squad looks like it is moving forward with a common purpose.
That’s another box set on the wish list

Though we’ll see how their tanks turn out.
Kinda low res. Hard to see any level of detail. But i love the look and general feel about them.
Loving the look of the Corporation miniatures, can’t wait to see more.
Some of Mantic’s best. Their first human line and it does not disappoint.
Also, the paint job looks quite sensible with the models, to me, many of Mantic’s line look better when I see them out of the box than the photos of painted minis they release.
Was pondering, the painting isn’t Romain…but surly a nice type of lettuce~ Sorry had to.

I hope it’s the low quality pictures, but some of those look creepily disproportionate.
While I am naturally biased, (dossier story and unit descriptions – [yes i know – rivers of firepower is a sucky descriptions, sorry!]) – I have to say that the pictures STILL do not do the models justice. I saw these models up close on Monday. I held them in my hands and drooled all over them. (Yes, it was just drool! – JUST).
I have never been a big scifi gamer – till now.
Game over, man. Game over.
Who said that up above because (EDIT – Trebormillis) that is how I feel right now. I once owned the original Aliens board game with card characters and a paper map and I so want to play that right now after fondling – AHEM! – holding these models.
I have always been a fantasy gamer – dark dungeons, haunted forests, epic quests and the like and that is where my writing has been focused but when got the chance to write for the Dossier, that was when my scifi really started to grow.
I can’t wait to collect Expeditionary Commander Reid’s Corporation Force as well as the poor schmuck Marauders of Hadax Prime and replay several key battles including the massacre of the Forger Father contingent (conveniently left out of the dossier story ;))
The paint job is crisp, it screams foot slogger (and I’ve known a few in my time, make of that what you will). These are the dogs b%$$)^£s after they’ve been kicked, punched and worried on by the 8th Race and I can’t wait to get painting them up for our game club launch here in Nottingham in March – (any chance of some coverage Warren????)

Still not sure about these guys until I see them in person, but I really like the Corporation Rangers guns and gear in the picture.

They’re alright, I just don’t like the flat faceplate – the photo makes it look like there’s no optics, more like something for them to pull down and blindly run at the wall … 😛
A single large, round lens would not be hard to greenstuff though and would look cool, IMO.
For those mentioning weird proportions the ‘problem’ is that these miniatures are far more accurate than the likes of heroic scale GW models. I like them.

No it’s not just you. That came to mind as well. They are real thin to the IG that they most likely where meant to fill in place. The full helmets make them look better as the head looks more to size.
No one in my area wants to pick up Warpath… Looks like my IG are picking up an elite regiment though…
