We stop in to find out what Gripping Beast are bringing to Salute 2017 with some demo games for Swordpoint and SAGA.
As well as that they're stepping in to show off their new Dark Age Plastics and even give away some of them PLUS the exclusive Gripping Beast dice as part of our competition.

Saga…hmmm…another game I want to try. I have always like the sound of the fatigue mechanic.

Plastic achers, oh yes. I need some levis for my Anglo-Danes and Vikings warband. Uh, nice looking dice, like the rune symbols. Maybe i should give sword point a look. And at long last … its back !!! Northen fury !! 😀

Always been interesting in trying SAGA, poicked up a box of vikings when they launched them at salute, not done much with them yet.
Love Saga, Love Gripping beast! my new obsession, cant get enough at the moment, all you interested in saga just do it, you wont regret it, simple rules easy to follow, awesome mini’s at a third of the price of some of our favourite companies and stacks of 3rd party goodies, im a full convert, dunno if you can tell…..
I like that all these companies can now produce plastic kits for core army units. It makes armies more practical for everyone, has to be good for the hobby.

Really like the Sword Point but still can’t get past battle boards in SAGA.

Saga is the one I havent gotten into yet, but next on my list. Have watched a number of youtube vids, and a group is starting up at my FLGS, so I expect to start up in next couple of months.

Well Ben as you surely couldn’t resist I’m looking forward to some pictures of newly painted miniatures in an upcoming weekender or even better a hobby night live with you all breaking out you Saga warrants.
Archers look good, too bad they weren’t released when I made the archers for my Goth army.
Has there ever been a saga week? It seems you always talk about this game on the weekender but I don’t recall seeing a demo game for it. Will have to search to see if something like that exist.

Never got to painting my SAGA miniatures, but seeing them everywhere constantly reminds me of them. Maybe i’ll grab a brush, knowing the german distributor personally and playing Infinity with his playtester on a regular basis should help.
