Yet another great insight in the history and lore.
Ben and Cad are so enthousiastic, that never stops to bore me.

furios

Ben where are the secrets?

I appreciated this seminar. Every time you two talk about lore we dive in the Fabled Realms.

kantor72

Listening to people who really love what they’ve created is superb. Ben going offon a tangent is golden and just makes it better.

tchrin

Couldn’t agree more. Their enthusiasm and passion sells their product and company as much as the (obvious) quality of the products themselves.

Leo (and now Az!) from Mythic Games does the same for JoA and previously Mythic Battles. And the guys from Army Painter too. So good to see people that clearly believe in their product as they do.

kristoph09tailz

Love the world building- the art style is superb, I want some more of dat! very nostalgic, but with some new twists

robbie40000

Graphic novels now you have my attention

petey9

I love to hear these guys talk about their world. You really get the feeling that they have been there. It’s like they came home from a holiday and are describing what they saw. It’s fantastic.

madgolem

The lore and the background are so detailed and so deep. There is fluff for many years and plenty of interesting and inspiering gaming content. I‘m really excited for all the things that will come for fabled realms.

collins

this is really interesting. the years of RPG are clear in this background

eternitygate

Haha at 12:20 when every beasts of war fan has to turn the volume down. Great coverage guys it’s been awesome!

warhammergrimace

It’s great to hear about the lore and background, it’s what makes a game, rules are just the means to play the game. There are good and bad rules but essentially you can use any rules system to play a game, but the background is what sets the scene, adds flavor, atmosphere and gives you the setting in which to develop your own narratives in.

eternitygate

Also oh my God when you get the map out & has to take away the sword. My God I spat just my coffee out laughing.

spartax101

It’s always great to see a game system brought to life that is so rich in history and lore which enables new stories and campaigns to evolve over a period of time rather than the odd pick up game that serves no real purpose. I really like the ability of creating our own characters as Justin has said in a previous video make them more personalised so they mean more as we see them grow throughout a campaign and hope they live long enough to retire.

I would really like 4ground to be able to re-open the pledge manager so I can add more models to my eightfold path and perhaps pick up a second faction to entice more of my friends to play this awesome game.

dane001

Really was an amazing little break down but you guys always leave me wanting more. I’d love to see some books, whether that be graphic novels or not I think anythig within this universe would be amazing. I’d be volunteering my services to assist but I dont think Im good enough to give what you’ve got justice.
Can’t wait for more on the lore and the background

spartax101

I couldn’t agree more, I would like to see more books too. Perhaps the 4Ground guys could bring out a book called “The History of the Fabled Realms” telling the history of the different factions and famous battles. This I think will give some great back stories when creating characters and warbands for the different factions.

Perhaps 4Ground could create novels following the different factions through their adventures and conflicts throughout the Fabled Realms?

silverfox8

maybe I missed it but are there any skaven like creatures?

christine

Loving the lore, it’s great to see a universe which is so fleshed out! I’ve been painting a bunch of proxys/kitbashes for the game (eightfold path, drugoi and a small force loyal to a local lord) and cannae wait to get my hands on the real McCoy!

bors77

Can the draggoi skin be a different color than blue/grey/purple

laughingboy

Great to hear them talk about their game with such passion but you can tell it has been a long day.

xanadib

This really does sound like a well thought out setting. one off the reasons I originally got into warhammer fantasy was the lore and setting, hoping this might (someday) rival that.

kristoph09tailz

Where is the live blog, and is this it? 😛

aermord

One of the things that sold me in regard to this game is how strong the narrative is. The developed background and lore is truly impressive.

smitty14

Really cool to see how excited the guys are about their “baby” they created. Very inspiring. Listening to the lore and background is like listening to actual historical events. Seems like a very solid and well thought out background.

lordbob

Very interesting and now I see why Cad was the one in the previous live streams holding the mike and not Ben.

Matthew Mahling

3 legged dragon needs lore.

prototheca

That’s a big map

golonka

Lol the giant map! You need to do a fabled realms map blanket to snuggle under 😀

normandyfan

enjoyed this

rgreenparadox

this is the campaign write up after years of story telling in it.

chosenman44

This was just gold.

caledor2

Good that Warren was there to guide the guys.
Dungeon crawler sounds good.
They should more of these sessions about the fluff.

basilbrush

love a good background

tosjeck

am I glad I’m not wearing headphones, still my ear are ringing

beetle

The one video I want to see most, and the one I couldn’t make the live stream for. I will have to return and catch it next week.

ravingmad8

Such a detailed world. When they release the game there will be one book with the rules and 20 books just with the fluff.

king

CAD you Fupped up – you should have had the water pistol to hand 😉

bennu

Love the lore

dekinrie

bens got to be one of the rambliest people ever ,puts lindybiege to shame

paragon

I saw a Lloyd!

fireblarney

Such a depth to the lore already. You can hear the love they hold for this game and it’s world.

eddieharr

Some great fluff. I always like it when a game really puts real effort into its lore

lawnor

Very interesting

hargarpad

Sounds great!

darnast

That map business alone was so hilarious. Still don’t know if that was one gigantic joke.

If I got any more questions? I got so many…
– Who’s in the Tuedan League (Tudean?), what’s their deal and who are their major players?
– What is Tuedenburg like and what’s their deal towards the other factions?
– What elven factions are there (we heard of Nihauan and Talhauan) what are they up to?
– There is a concept piece for different elven mercs in rather ‘human’ gear – where do they belong?
– What’s up with the ‘Ogres’ (Trogkin? Trobkin?) and how are they?
– Are there Hobgoblins per se, what are they stemming from, what are their general features and how do they live in this world?

lawnor

So what happens when they infect a sea creature?
