You can actually see a Let’s Play of this game that we did with them HERE and get a feel for how it plays on the tabletop but it is safe to say that it is quite the hit in the feels as you get stuck into it.

Excellent to hear that Holding On is a big success at Essen Spiel.
On the one hand, I like the focus in the patient, Billy Kerr, with the care team characters (the players) being more anonymous – makes a change from the usual TV hospital dramas where the doctors, nurses and administrators take center stage. But on the other hand, a board game like ER or Dr House would be cool too…
Somehow I totally missed the Untold release last year – looks like a great way to play a more structured Game of Rory’s Story Cubes. Going from a quick ice-breaker or filler game to a “main event” board game.
Please take a closer look at HUB’s Pandemic card game variant.
Holding On deserves so much attention and it’s so great to see that the team at Hub Games are super busy with it.
Sometime soon I’ll be looking to do a Let’s Play of Untold but also I want to be playing through the rest of the Holding On scenarios. But maybe not on camera as I don’t want to spoil everyone!

Holding On looks like a really nice game
After watching the Let’s Play of this the other day, this one is definitely on my list of games to get. Love the mechanics of how it does cooperative story telling .
It’s definitely one of my top board games of the year! This one should not be missed!
