If I was playing a fair game with someone and I lost because someone else dropped a rocket on me from another table and there was nothing I could do about it and I didn’t know that’d annoy me. If we are all playing silly thats another matter.

jodain

Have to agree with you there, I assume this bootcamp is going with the silly though.

lawnor

Really? What about Warrens Nazi UFOs gives you that idea?

burnseye

Haha, i love the idea of affecting other peoples tables with random attacks.
War is hell and all that!!!

abcwarrior38

Looks amazing, Cant wait to watch tomorrow’s blogs!

wolf320f

there is always the unexpected in war so a random event doesnt bother me or mean anything its just a random event to overcome, adapt to or move around as long as its random and down to luck go for it. War is seldom ive shot know its your turn, has the city board got some fleeing civilians, partizans, collaborators go mental mix it up lol

get some nuns walking through the middle of the battle stopping everything ive seen the film its got to be real it was in colour

avernos

nuns you say in 15mm FoW… actually I have those 😉

sundancer

Nuns on the run?

khy0te

Yeah, Gerry seems like a puppet master.

rokdok

C’mon Roosevelt was Pres then, we was a stand up guy comparatively to present.

gobbo

Teach the young!!!

stump172

jmhammer90

Yes dance little man dance all hail Gerry the puppet master

dorthonion

Launch the doodlebugs and then have flak and fighters attempt to intercept them

amachan

Maybe some inspiration of an amazing and accurate paintjob will sway more people to do the Americans, so here is a link to my 15mm Sherman called Sherbet. https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1310251/

brucelea

Gerry picking something from the deck that amuses him, what could possibly go wrong ???

I’ll come over and play Muricans! 🙂

astralwraith

I’ve always found it easier to get into a game when there was someone who knows how to play it takes you through the 1st few games

jemmy

warhammergrimace

firing Doodlebug at another table could be fun

wilco92

skodamarine

Random bombing from another table….Sounds like the sort of thing that would happen time in a game 🙂

gmatt55

sounds like good fun

coachjose59

Good times, learning flames and blownin stuff up on
Other tables!

petey9

seems like a long day of hobby is tiring people out

andre77

Nice to see some younglings going into the hobby.

goatberger

I enjoy the idea of random effects. We had someone FUBAR in a Bolt Action game yesterday resulting in friendly fire. Made the game more interesting.

while

In for some fun when Gerry runs the game!

radegast6

Hey, more brother Lloyd please !

fireblarney

Would make for an interesting multi-player games day mechanic that’s for sure.

basilbrush

i love the idea of launching ‘doddlebugs’ at other tables

buggeroff

hahahahahahaah poor fellas, gerry can be eeeeeeviiilllll!!!

dammitprawn

Is the middle not half way?

kingandcountry

hmm I have a spring loaded doodlebug that might actually get fired now

falerox

I kind of like the Random event idea. Full disclosure, I often steal defeat from victory with terrible rolls.

longshotte

Good to see the master of terrain at the bootcamp.

uptrebor
