With the minis being magnetised it meant I could use an old metal frame to mount most of them.
This would allow a bit better access for spray coverage.
Some dry and slightly warmer weather allowed me to get the spraying carried out.
It took a couple of coats and some touch up sprays, since the TT combat white spray I have doesn’t seem to go down overly well – may have to go back to Citadel ?
Is that TTCombat White Sphere? Mine seems ok, as does the Sprue Grey colour. What happened that you weren’t expecting?
Nice idea to use the magnets for spraying by the way.
Yeah, white sphere.
It just had a very short throw. Can says use at arms length, but I had to get really close. The spray was weak.
Anything further and it was just dust.
And went on very thin.
I have had a grey and it was OK.
Maybe it was just a duff can sadly.
Two coats quite close plus some touch up individual spurts got a reasonable coverage in the end.
Re the magnets – may as well make use of them, saves on blu tac ?
did you try warming the can up in hot water (not boiling) first?
If not dunk it, leave it for a minute, shake it up, back in the water for another minute then a final shake before spraying.
You may find that it will fix the issue
Yeah, it was warmed up, and shaken well.
Weather was OK, not wet not hot.
Just one of those things I think.
After spraying loads of DZ terrain with ‘cheaper’ sprays, it was just a bit disappointing tbh.
Went with this as it was recommended as good for using contrast on.
Still, I’m getting stuff done, so I’ll focus on the positive ?
