First Time? Pre-Order The Dead Man’s Hand Gallows Set
September 17, 2025 by brennon
Great Escape Games are taking pre-orders for a new plastic terrain set for use in your 28mm Wild West games, like their very own Dead Man's Hand. Head to the Gallows with this new set, which will be coming out in October.
Gallows Set // Great Escape Games
A simple but "fun" new set for you to introduce into your games of Dead Man's Hand. Inside, you'll get all of the plastic components for building your Gallows as well as the four miniatures representing the man sending some poor unfortunate to his untimely death with a long drop and a short stop.
Gallows Set - Built // Great Escape Games
The set comes with the condemned man with the hood over his head, about to meet his end. You also get one more unfortunate prisoner who is lining up to be next. There is also a man who clearly enjoys his job, riling up the crowd and another about to pull the lever.
It should be nice and easy to get this painted and ready for the tabletop. The Gallows itself would shine with a bit of drybrushing. Now, you just need to decide who is being sentenced! Is this going to be some poor soul who was mistakenly framed for a crime he didn't commit? Is he a deadly outlaw that needs to see the noose?
Gallows Set - Sprue // Great Escape Games
You can set up some great scenarios based around this one terrain kit. I like the idea of having one gang trying to rescue the condemned whilst the other is trying to make sure that they meet their end. Maybe you could even twist things and have it so that both gangs are lying in wait until they die before raiding the undertakers who are trying to cart off his body. You need to rifle through his pockets for that map to the hidden treasure!
Are you going to be getting this new terrain set for Dead Man's Hand?

Lovely feature piece. Though I’d convert it so the trap door opens and the wee man drops down.
Not one for Justin, I know he’s not keen on his miniatures being well hung.
Oo’er missus…
Honestly surprised this was plastic and not cheap burnt wood. Nice!
Would probably cost about £50 if it was burnt wood
Great feature piece of terrain to complement their excellent lineup of plastics
