Archon Release Monstrous New Dungeon Delving Foes
November 18, 2025 by brennon
Archon Studio has released some monstrous new miniatures for you to use as part of your dungeon delving, roleplaying games and of course, wargames. These 32mm scale Fantasy miniatures could be great when theming your next adventure with friends.
Minotaur // Archon Studio
We start with a fearsome Minotaur, charging through the halls of a labyrinth in search of its next victim. With Warriors of Athena on the horizon, the new Joseph A. McCullough game from Osprey, this could be a good excuse to start your collection early and face down an iconic creature during your initial adventures.
The pose is great and the Minotaur looks suitably dominating, bellowing at Theseus as he scarpers off away into the darkness! It should be noted that all of the miniatures you see here are from Archon's hard plastic kits so they should be nice and easy to work with.
New Goblins
If you'd prefer to dive into classic Fantasy, you can also get your hands on the Goblin King, who is stalking around in the darkness of the mountain halls, looking for unfortunate adventurers to add to his cooking pot.
Goblin King // Archon Studio
Taking some cues from the Goblin King of Middle-earth that you might remember from The Hobbit, this fellow is an overweight powerhouse who could sweep you aside with a swing of that mace. I like the addition of the ramshackle, trash crown on his head and the dominating pose, as if he is charging forward.
The miniature also features that nice scenic base and a pile of treasure, which your adventurers obviously want to get their hands on.
You can't have a Goblin without some (un)loyal followers who are going to do his every bidding. See what you make of the Goblin Warband.
Goblin Warband // Archon Studio
This set features sixteen Goblin miniatures armed with an assortment of weapons. This should give you enough for you to use as both rank and file as well as elite Goblins in your dungeon delves and skirmish wargames.
Goblin Warband // Archon Studio
I like the classic style of these Goblins with their big floppy ears, hooked noses and mouths full of jagged teeth. They are also using an interesting mix of stolen armour and weaponry, which has clearly been snapped up from dead adventurers that their King has killed.
Terrifying Spiders
As well as the Goblins, we also have other creatures skulking around in the darkness beneath the world. Leading the way is Arachnea, a towering spider matriarch who is looking to lure you into the shadows, wrap you up and feed her children!
Arachnea // Archon Studio
A great miniature for those delving into the likes of the Underdark of Dungeons & Dragons. She has another imposing pose, crawling down from her throne to fight her foes. I quite like the idea that you could maybe include her in your games, glamoured at first, perhaps pretending to be another adventurer who has got lost down in the shadows.
She promises that she knows the way out of the dank cave network that you now find yourselves in but secretly, she is leading you deeper into her domain, where she hopes to ensnare you.
That is when her children come out to play...
Cave Spiders // Archon Studio
The Cave Spiders set comes with lots of these creepy crawlies, sneaking their way through the darkness to web you up and save you for later. As well as the giant versions of these spiders, you also get some swarms and egg sacs that are just waiting to be popped by a stray arrow.
Cave Spiders // Archon Studio
There is also the Cave Spider Rider, an enterprising Goblin who has decided that it would be a good idea to learn the ways of the Cave Spiders. You could see him as a dangerous, elite foe for your dungeon delves but also perhaps a passing trader if you wanted to use him as an interesting NPC rather than a straight-up villain.
If you're interested in checking out some of the terrain that would go alongside these monstrous miniatures, check out more HERE.
What do you make of these new monsters?

Nice stuff. Especially a Minotaur with more human than cow skin/hide
The Goblin KIng and the goblins are really good. They would make great alternatives to GW LOTR goblins for MEBSG.
