Where does it start?
I actually get to watch this on a friday evening for once!
😁🤞🏻
Happy Weekend All
Those ‘Space Hike’ miniatures are superb, and just might go boldly onto my printer plate 😁
I think I am going to have to get starcraft, I love the setting, and models look outstanding. Plus the rules sound intersting
Played the campaigns, and have played enough to know how terrible I am at the game.
Ben, you were wrong about GW’s Red Corsairs Raiders, these are a completely new kit, not an add on sprue for Chaos Marines (if you look at the big starter box they have the raiders and the regular chaos marines which the add on sprue is for) the Raiders kit has the marines in a greater mix of armour not all chaos to represent the fact that they are renegades.
To be fair, they were both in the end, new kit and upgrade sprue (albeit a minimal one, compared with the Kill Team ones).
Tempted by the sci-fi terrain for games of Deadzone
cracking idea #DeadzoneIsLife
Yay weekender time is now folk’s 👍
The starcraft game looks great 👍
Good one guy’s
It’ll be neat to see what they do with terrain rules for all the buildings in Starcraft.
So many 40K 2nd Ed Vibes, so much of 40k Lore still taps back to the early days.
Those Red Corsair raiders are right up my alley, I love their scavenged/mixed armour parts look without all the Chaos iconography of their Black Legion counterparts. They’re perfect for more fringe or unaligned chapters, both traitor and loyalist.
Do like those bridge crew, but no need for them.
Them Scarlet Buccaneer things look great. 😁
The 2-player StarCraft set is MRP $450 and they will offer it at $199 (€160). The Protos set is $109. I am curious if they will talk about retail prices for the standard boxes in their next AMA.I hope they do show off how the game works before the pre-order. I also found it interesting that they mentioned a smaller scale game as well.
+3BS fireteam bonus? Is that specifically for Acontecimento? The N5 fireteam bonus only shows a +1BS bonus when you have 4 models.
I was working off the N4 stats cause I haven’t been near N5 didn’t realise they’d changed the 5 man core bonus that much
Nice one 🙂
That was fun, thanks!
The StarCraft models all look really nice.
Looking forward to some 40K Blood & Plunder!
I think I’m going to have a few months of politely explaining to people that whole the minis are nice, I’m not invested in StarCraft IP…
I’m strangely excited for Star Craft and always good to see Infinity stuff in the Weekender.
Love your work
But I already constructed additional pylons!
Ooh Space Trek minis! Or are they Star Truck minis? Stellar-body Journey minis?
Some intriguing releases this week. Great show. Thank you.
GW need to bring back freebooters 🏴☠️
First time catching the Weekender this year…
The scifi stuff this week looks awesome! The red corsairs look great, starcraft minis look awesome and the bridge crew look brilliant tbf.
given the freight cost to south america, do we think the cartels are just wargames clubs trying to afford to buy toy soldiers?
Good to see the Eldar getting some more love with Prince Yriel’s lot. Some nice models in there
