Meridian Miniatures has taken to Kickstarter with a range of quirky, Fantasy miniatures in the form of the 28mm Marcello Rizza Moonblins! See what you think of these odd fellows.

Marcello Rizza has a long history with Meridian Miniatures as a prolific painter of the Meridian range. He has now learned to sculpt and created these amazing old-fashioned metal miniatures representing the Moonblins for use in your Fantasy wargames.
Moonblin Command // Meridian Miniatures
The Moonblins actually have some lore behind them as well! I won't delve into it in too much detail here but let's just say that they came into being thanks to the moon-mind and imagination can really take you a long way! Let's just say, they are a little bit weird.
Moonblin with Spear // Meridian Miniatures
The range comes with a selection of thirteen metal miniatures covering the Moonblins and also an assortment of oddities and extra characters that can help flesh out this warband of the weird. I love their suitably weird moon faces and their quirky, galavanting poses. Plus, how on earth (or the moon) do those "finger guns" work?
Moonblin with Big Finger // Meridian Miniatures
The Big Finger is clearly the most powerful weapon that you can include in your unit. I imagine those fires the most Moonblin goo at you and perhaps even turns you into a Moonblin? I quite like that idea and will most likely now make it a reality.
As well as all of the miniatures for the Moonblins, you can also pick up one of Marcello's first-ever miniatures, the adorable-looking Roso.

Finger guns are always great.
You ever just look at something and know that you have no use for it whatsoever and yet know that you 100% will be buying it because you can’t imagine not? No? Just me then. Backed XD
