Two Deadly WW2 Snipers Coming Soon For Warlord’s Bolt Action

Warlord Games has revealed two deadly World War II Snipers that are going to be available in different ways soon for their 28mm wargame, Bolt Action. It's a proper Enemy At The Gates clash as Vasily Zaitsev joins Major Erwin König.

Leading the way, we have the miniature for Vasily Zaitsev, hero of the Soviet Union. He is going to be the brand new Tournament Miniature for Warlord Games, obtainable via various Bolt Action tournaments, where you'll get a chance to win one of these exclusive miniatures.

The No Land Beyond the Volga miniature shows Vasily sneaking through the snow, completely clad in his winter uniform. There's also a German helmet sitting in the snow, possibly the last target that Vasily took out.

Major Erwin König - Soldier of Fortune

Set against him is an older tournament miniature, now returned to the Warlord Games webstore for Bolt Action as a Soldier of Fortune and model of the month. Meet Major Erwin König.

Major Erwin König was the first-ever Bolt Action Tournament Miniature and now he's back, available for the entire month of February 2026. Whilst evidence of him as a historical figure is scarce, he is super cool-looking and slots in nicely as an elite German sharpshooter to pit against Vasily on the table as the battle rages on nearby between the Soviets and the Germans.

This sculpt features him stalking through the rubble, binoculars at the ready to spy where his next target has taken refuge. You could have a fun sub-game being played within a larger Bolt Action clash where these two snipers are competing to take each other out.
