It's all hustle and bustle over here at the event but we get some time with the guys at Prodos Games who made Dawns very own Jezebel miniature.
love AvP. Missed Space Crusade the first time so looking forward to this edition.

Like the amount of details Prodos’ minitures have. So a Space Crusade package would be awesome.
I hope things go well for Prodos. They make lovely miniatures. The whole AvP debacle looks like it might be nearing the end too. As a backer, i was disappointed by the delays and such, but I don’t really hold a grudge against Prodos. They did the best they could in a difficult situation. Besides, the quality level of the minis they produce has been unbelievable through out!
Bringing back one of the games from my youth .. and in the way they are doing this is sheer brilliance.. High on my wants (needs) list

Prodos is always this rollercoaster ride for me. Love AvP artwork and minis, but didn’t like the rules. Warzone has awesome rules, but I don’t like the minis. Haven’t had a chance at space crusade yet.

I am curious about new Space Crusade. That and hero Quest were my introductions to mini gaming growing up.
I’m not a fan of big gribbly demons, but the eyeballs on that monster look amazing.
Prodos makes some wonderful stuff. I do hope their dark days are finally over.
i glade Prodos is doing Warzone. i play 1st and 2nd ed warzone in the 90’s cant wait to give this version a go.

Nice to see that there is a ‘go to’ company with the skills to put a product out instead of each smaller producer having to do everything from scratch themselves. Should mean more consistent quality from those who use them.

Space Crusade looks awful. A really bad way to make money off a nostalgic IP. Thankfully the AVP stuff looks a lot better.

Since I have just started collecting miniatures and board games i have been wondering where to start but i saw the AVP game and being such a huge fan of the films I decided I have to get it!

To say Prodos were bum rushed was an understatement! A lot of that was to do with the AVP backers who were finally able to get their hands on their pledges.. and honestly I think there must have been a lot of relief on both sides about that! I had to come back about 6 times before I could get in and buy something (and talk with Jared to see how things are going) and it was great to see all the Warzone stuff in the new (and smaller!) retail packaging.
The paint job on the Space Crusade minis was stunning and they certainly convinced me to pick up a model or two to add to my pile of painting shame 😀

The Warzone stuff has been on my radar for ages now, but I;m hesitant about the durability of resin in my own fumble fingers on a wargames table. Perhaps resin minis on a boardgame might be the way to go

Didn’t really get the whole outrage over Space Crusade when it was originally announced. I get that the figures weren’t to everyone’s taste, but I took them as being a bit of fun and am genuinely interested in this game.

had initially dismissed Space Crusade but the minis BoW had on the Weekender couple weeks back were really good, definitely worth a closer look.
Cant fault Prodos for their minis. Stunning.
I never backed the AVP Kickstarter but since release I have picked up the game and all the wave 2 minis as the quality of the sculpts was great, glad they still had a couple of Jezebels left when I got to them, great mini and am looking forward to painting it.

Was really glad I went to that stand first to collect my Jezebel, as there line only seemed to increase as the day went on. Got to see a lot of the Warzone and Space Crusade ranges in the flesh that I had not seen before, got to say, those Samurai esq models need to find a way to my collection

I love the Artemis figure for Space Crusade.
The stand has soooo many nice mins! Got my hands on a Jezebel model.
Prodos’ miniature quality is quite good and the price (for the Warzone models) is decent as well. I’d really love them to work with Mantic Games and do some of their larger models, their material would just be perfect.
I’m a bit skeptical about Space Boobs, but I’ll reserve my judgement until the game is out.

I liked the interview you guys did with Jarek on the Weekender. His explanation about Space Crusade has me interested in it. I loved the MB Games version and I think AvP and Warzone are top notch so who knows.

I’ve not seen prodos minis in the flesh, and space crusade is looking very interesting indeed!
I was planning to pick up some minis from these guys but every time I went to the stand it was absolutely heaving. So I’ll just have to mail order some stuff….my friend I was with hadn’t seen much of the range and was very impressed with the stuff in the cabinets.

There were some beautiful minis on display at their stand. I had to stop myself from looking at the AvP stuff or I would have cracked. But it is only a matter of time.

Picked up AVP from TrollTrader at Salute for £50 and I’m blown away by it to be fair. Pulled out of the kickstarter due to no published rules and iffy talk on licensing but happy to pick it up at retail. The miniatures, especially the aliens and marines are just amazing. Not so keen on the poses of 2 of the pred’s. Deffo going to be getting myself a queen and a powerloader.
not so fussed about space crusade, but seeing the AvP in the cabinets was time well spent.
