Explore Kodama Duo: Kindred Spirits On Kickstarter Now

Action Phase Games are on Kickstarter right now for a variant on Kodama as they introduce Kodama Duo: Kindred Spirits into the mix.

The new version of the game brings in a way to play a two-player version of the charming little game as well as a sixth player expansion which gets more of your friends around the tabletop.

For those of you not accustomed to Kodama, it's a game all about building a tree and making it a nice place for the little tree spirits you see in the artwork to visit. You will have to use spacial awareness and develop combos to score the most points you can.

It has the added effect of looking awesome as well when you're done building up your network of branches.

The changes to the game for two players come as they introduce a new way for the branches to be presented to both players where you'll be given more interesting back and forth between the participants. The additional use of Spirit Tokens means that the normal rules for building branches (to their maximum length for example) can be in flux, giving you alternative options for scoring.
