Kids' Chronicles: Quest For The Moon Stones // Lucky Duck Games

Kids' Chronicles is a family twist on their cooperative game series which focuses on adventure and mystery investigation.

"As magician’s apprentices, players dive into the fairy tale lands of the Kingdom of Summer and the Winter Empire. Accompanied by the faithful familiar, Nills The Moon Cat, they embark on a quest to find four magical Moon Stones. To achieve their goal, young magicians will have to solve numerous mysteries and help inhabitants of both Kingdoms overcome their problems."

The Chronicles series uses both traditional board game components and an app to explore a unique tabletop experience. During gameplay, you use the Scan&Play technology on your components to uncover different clues and triggers which continue the story. You can then explore 3D scenes using a mobile phone or tablet so they can become immersed in the game universe.

This particular entry into the series will feature one tutorial and five unique stories which should last between thirty and forty-five minutes each. This seems like a good length for a game where you're trying to keep kids invested!

Say what you like about app integration into your games but I reckon this would be super fun for kids and their families to play. I think the added dimension offered by the app will really grab their attention.

Are you tempted to give this a go?
