Resonym's Visitor In Blackwood Grove has gained a few accolades over the past year but now sees a general release to the public this year. Let's find out more...

Visitor In Blackwood Grove - Resonym

In this game, a spacecraft has crashed in Blackwood Grove. The Kid who watched it come down is looking to try and figure out how to help the Visitor before the Federal Agents close in and find their way through the forcefield surrounding the ship. They want to dissect him and do all kinds of horrible experiments!

This then turns into a two-versus-many asymmetrical game where both the Kid and Federal Agent players are trying to guess what will go through the Forcefield using hints like 'things that contain metal'. This needs to be vague enough to help the Kid who has to guess what will work, and enough of a puzzle to throw the Agent off the scent.

It sounds like a nice mix of games of Codenames and Decrypto with a bit of a puzzle twist to it, and the artwork looks gorgeous too.

Are you tempted by this?
