Take A Look At Spartacus The Shadow Of Death Expansion Coming Soon

Gale Force Nine have given us a better sneak peek inside The Shadow of Death expansion that is coming in April for Spartacus: A Game of Treachery & Bloodshed. The models, if they keep them as detailed, are looking awesome!

The Shadow of Death expansion brings in a new House, House Calavius, to do battle with their gladiators in the arena. This new House has a lot more power over the other ones and really fits with the flavour of the show. There will of course be new cards for Schemes and Reactions as well as Intrigue to plot the downfall of others while your fortunes rise.

The most impressive thing however is the addition of new models for Spartacus, Crixus and Theokoles who also come with new cards showing off their powerful abilities in the arena.

I loved the show when it was on TV and the board game was a lot of fun when I tried it out with Justin and Sam once so it's good to see the expansions still coming for it. I'm excited to see how this changes things up in-game.
