Want to get your family involved in a fairy-tale themed card game? Three Little Wolves has now been announced from Renegade Game Studios, arriving October this year - taking a twist and turn on the classic story as players work as their own version of the (no-longer) big, bad wolf and construct the tallest of the buildings - ones strong enough to not be knocked over by the fearsome piggies!

Three Little Wolves // Renegade Game Studio

Taking a huff, and a puff, ready to blow those houses down is taking a role reversal! As players take the role of a family of wolves in the hope to build the tallest of houses in the city.

Players must attempt to grow these houses by adding new floors both up and down by playing cards on their turn. Players will expand on the size of their houses or they can choose to hide in another players' construct for some extra points. At the end of the game, the piggies will be out on the loose taking down the smallest houses of each colour, and any wolves that may be hiding within it. So players must keep track and make sure they do not put all of their faith on the wrong building - in an attempt to escape the wrath of revenge from the three little piggies.

Three Little Wolves takes roughly 20 minutes to play, and with 2-4 players able to join in on the fairy-tale themed madness. Although more so known for their tabletop titles, such as Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid and Vamprie: The Masquerade,  Renegade Game Studios have certainly released some of my favourite fantasy board and card games which are pitched for families, and do not take too long to play. Renegade are always a winner for the nieces - especially as most of their board and card games are ages 8+!

Pre-orders are now available on the Renegade Game Studios website, so keep an eye on the upcoming release for this October.

What fairy tale would you like to see gain a new perspective through a tabletop title?
