The Zhanmadao Battlefleet Set Comes To Dystopian Wars In July!

Dystopian Wars is getting graced by more new releases coming up for the month of July. Leading the way from Warcradle Studios is the new Zhanmadao Battlefleet Set which should set old Dystopian Wars fan's hearts aflutter.
Zhanmadao Battlefleet Set // Dystopian Wars
The Celestian Empire can call on this flying fortress, this castle in the sky, and dominate whatever battlefield you're fighting over. As well as being laden with guns, it can also carry a squadron of fighters which can be unleashed in a full-on swarm.
Zhanmadao Sky Fortress // Dystopian Wars
As well as the Zhanmadao Sky Fortress, you can also pick up a couple of Ziwei Sky Bastions as part of the collection which can also be built as the Qianshao Class ships if you prefer. Finishing off the set, you also get a bunch of fighter craft that are going to be zooming around the battlefield causing chaos.
New Support Squadrons
As well as the new Zhanmadao Battlefleet Set, you also get a couple of new Support Squadrons for July as well. The Italian Support Squadron leads for this month and comes with a mix of different ships and submarines.
Italian Support Squadrons // Dystopian Wars
This set comes with two of the Scorpio Artillery Cruisers (which can also be built as the Jupiter or Vulcan) alongside the Safitta Hunter Submarines. You also get four Pugio Destroyers to cap things off and make sure that those other ships make their way to critical positions, ready to strike.
You can also get your hands on the Enlightened Aerial Squadrons which is giving the Zhanmadao a run for their money! Do you go with floating castles or a flying saucer?
Enlightened Aerial Squadrons // Dystopian Wars
This set comes with a variety of fun miniatures for the Enlightened including an Adamski Strike Saucer (which can be built as a Haunebu or Valtar) as well as two Euclid Scout Saucers (which can also be built as Pytheus). If you want to go full unidentified flying object then this is the way for you to go!
All of these miniatures are going to be available for you to pick up next month!

I absolutely love this! It doesn’t look like that’s a small model and it does harken back to the old Spartan flying fortresses.
In addition, I could see myself picking up a second set, just to merge it with XPS foam rocks to make an Asian style board!
I really dislike Warcradle’s new, but very lazy, design approach. I was extremely angry with the Enlightened Sky Fortress which was basically two saucers on top of the other. This Zhanmadao Sky Fortress is the same, but with four bastions stuck together instead. Long gone are the Spartan days of individual designs for the bigger vessels.
At this point I think I will take a bow and leave the game to those who like it.😢
