Fantasy Flight Games has been showing off two new Commander Expansions for Star Wars: Legion. These new characters give you lots of different options for those taking control of the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire. Leading the way we have Cassian Andor & K-2SO.

This set offers up one of the most skilled infiltrators and scouts fighting for the Rebellion Armed with his sniper rifle and covert blaster he is able to deal with the enemy both at long range and also up close should the need arise. He can be modelled as such too, armed with pistol or rifle in hand depending on what you prefer.

He is also joined by K-2SO who is a reprogrammed KX-series security droid that now serves as his wisecracking sidekick. As you might imagine he lends his impressive strength into the mix and can clobber enemies when he gets up close and personal. He can also be posed in different ways with a blaster in hand or sans-firearm.

This might be a nice step in the right direction towards building up the crew from Rogue One. I'm sure they will have more of their characters in the mix soon and then I want to see someone run all of them on the tabletop at once!

Deadly Turncoat?

As well as Cassian Andor and his droid companion we've also got Iden Versio & ID10 who are serving the Galactic Empire in their endeavours to hunt down and destroy the Rebellion.

Iden Versio & ID10 - FFG

Serving as part of Inferno Squad, Iden Versio and her crew are some of the most elite elements of the Galactic Empire. They are highly trained and able to adapt quickly to battlefield situations, on the hunt with the aid of ID10. She also comes with different options so she can don her helmet or go without.

I think it would also be rather cool to see someone do an alternative version of Iden Versio's card for when situations change. She wasn't always fighting on the side of the Galactic Empire but I will leave it at that.

What do you think of these two new expansions?
