A new operative expansion is joining the Rebels of Star Wars: Legion, none other than the skilled Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren.

Sabine is a character from the animated series Star Wars: Rebels, where she showcased her skill both as a fighter and as a graffiti artist.

She was a favourite character of mine from the show, and this expansion adds her deadly expertise to the Rebel forces.

The model has a number of options for assembly, whether you choose to take her with her iconic helmet and twin Westar-35 Blaster Pistols, or wielding the legendary Darksaber.

Wearing Mandalorian armour, Sabine is more durable than her fellow Rebels, while her jet pack lets her get stuck in with ease.

As she has to rely on her pistols and darksaber, she does have to get into close combat to become effective, but her mobility on the battlefield allows you to place her right where the enemy least expects.

I'm really happy to see the inclusion of characters from the extended universe, as well as the main movie series.

Sabine in particular is interesting as her model offers painters a chance to get creative. She stands out due to her tendency to decorate her equipment, giving you a bit more of a challenge than the standard palettes seen throughout the rest of the forces. Maybe this is one to hand over to John and Romain.

Sabine Wren is currently on pre-order from Fantasy Flight Games.

How would you use this figure on the battlefield.

"Her mobility on the battlefield allows you to place her right where the enemy least expects. "
