Ah – these are orcs, not ‘Orkz’, and definitely no ‘Boyz’ in sight! I can’t stand GW equivalents – especially 40k!

I love the Orc army list. (although i use my gw orcs and goblins for my games cause i prefer the look of them over mantics)
They look cool, but I’m afraid to say that the only good Orc is a dead Orc 😉

I have to say this games has my interest. My brother plays GWFB and 40K and I don’t because it takes them all day to set up and then late into the night to play. I like the streamlined approach to KoW and the flexibility.
You can keep your beardy dwarfs and effete elves. It’s the orcs that make a fantasy setting.
I wasn’t planning on getting an ‘army’ game, only skirmish like Deadzone,etc. But these videos are changing my mind.
I actually have a rather good giant model from reaper that would work well for an orc army. Might have to use it for some KOW games.
I have an Orc army and I love the hell out of it.
Been a fan of the concept of ‘Kings of War’ for a while. Watched all the vids.
Got to be honest, it was the umpteenth use of ‘absolutely’ (what is wrong with ‘Yes’), which joined ‘cool’ and ‘archetypal’ in the league of over-used words that started to put me off the game.
Guys! Do a video, do a series of videos, by all means. But please, say something, rather than just fill in time with over-used of cliches and guffawing about ‘G*d knows what’.
I would rather have three minutes of thoughtfulness than 17 minutes of drivel.

Love the look of the orcs. why can’t evil have a better work ethic and create its own races without having to taint another race.

These KoW orcs seem to have rather Tolkien inspired origin.

orc army is one of my armies I got from the kickstarter and I’m really happy with it
How does the flavor of the orcs come through in the rules? Do they have lots of armor piercing for melee?
Orcs have an army special rule where they all – every unit except Orclings – has Crushing Strength, which is a rule that makes it easier to penetrate the enemy’s armor when they hit.
I like the models.

Thank the Celestials that the Orcs don’t come from mushrooms.
During the KoW kickstarter for me it came down to choosing between the Orcs and the Dwarfs. The DWarfs won out, but only just.
I was exactly the same decided I didn’t want to paint a massive army and went with undead…which in hindsight was less sensible 😉
An army of orcs in chariots and on gores with a mongol theme seems like a great hobby idea.
WOOAAAAAAAGH. I have a small GW Orc army partly built, but these mantic Orcs look awesome. They look mean and vicious and not dumb and comical like the GW do.
I gotta get me some o’ these. It means I can play with hordes now that the cost is more acceptable, instead of remortgaging my house to horde up on GW.

I like orcs but I find these a little too obvious, could predict the units before seeing the video. I’m moving towards some of the other factions.
My favourite army in any system so will be my main KoW army. Of course helped should I win one of the giveaways!

I think it would be neat to see Warren do some of the conversions he’s imagining. It could be a whole new show, Conversion Corner or something like that.
Models look great. Unfortunately I can only buy one army at a time and Christmas only comes once a year.

Ah… nasty and brutish – the Mantic orcs in my collection have not yet been played as an army – but have been used in large numbers for Pathfinder. 🙂
Very nice looking characters – the Krudger has become a recurring villain – which is not an easy thing for orcs to do!

You comments about the Orc leader with a little zapper guy just make me thing of the warhammer online special figure!…. plans are forming in my head.

the design took awhile to grow on me, but i like most flavor of orc anyways
My WAR model that I got with the boxed game would make a nice Orc leader with a Zappy Sneak on it’s back I think
mantic orcs are great, allready have a box of the green guys and im looking foward to buy mode, or maybe winning them… 😛
I have never liked green skins up to this point. These though… I might just have to change my opinion.

The orc factions always have such cool looking models. I just can’t bring myself to turn green though 🙁
Almost feel like as soon as I choose an orc faction in one game, it’ll turn into my goto race/faction everywhere and I will miss out on everything else! Haha.
Orcs are orcs are orcs. But boy do they look cool when you have so many of them. A real strength of mantic models is how many you can field for how little money.
